A lot of people ITK'd that the pitch was being grown at the training ground. According to the OS, it has been prepared and grown in Holland. Hmmm. Rumours get a life of their own...
Probably because they tested the tray system there, people added 1 and 1 and got 5. Chinese whispers and all

@littlewilly care to elaborate the 'wtf'?

it might even be that over the last 50 odd pages the same question has been asked, and been answered quite a lot.

why lay something early when it's not going to be used. in the last 100 pages it has also been mentioned it will go down a couple of weeks before use, so perhaps they are hoping that the test events can go ahead in next 2 weeks

might have been done in another thread but interesting to note that CSKA switched their home clash with Real Madrid this evening to Moscow's biggest stadium, which I can't spell or pronounce but you'll remember the name if you heard it from the World Cup.

Seems UEFA is flexible.

Looks a lot more patchy than I was expecting. I think anyone thinking that would be ready in 2 weeks to play on is pretty wide of the mark.

Probably because DL didn't want to pay for it all, but reluctantly agreed to go dutch
