I think that when you are building a football stadium the grass is a key element of the build, it really is.

Sadly I think you're going to find the next couple of months even more frustrating.

They listened to you, and are laying the pitch early.
But by next week, you'll be wondering why the test events have not been organised.
ITKs have the test events pencilled in for December on their calendars.
There's still loads to do.

MP himself is pretty much identifying Dec 15 as the potential first game, then the test events would be late Nov early Dec, as once they've been passed, then we are home and dry (depending on where you sit).

No. I don't understand why the pitch is being laid now. Maybe the grass can only be held in that top matrix alone for so long before it starts to get distressed. And it does look a bit distressed.
Maybe the pitch providers have another pitch to prepare and need the space.
If only we had an expert on grass on here...

So happy to live in Australia. Our property is not particularly large but it's 750 square metres. A bit more to mow than your backyard.

I’ve seen pitches unrolled and laid that look completely normal and ready to play on as Rochdale did last season. As I said before I doubt 3 days or even 2 weeks is ideal. But they have “looked” ready. Never seen a new pitch in that state. Obviously not concerned as it will likely have a couple of months to bed in.

How many pitches have you seen hours after the turf has been been laid?...and be honest.

We have a world class team that ensured the pitch at White Hart Lane was always winning awards and looking incredible. I don't think there is anything we need to worry about, they have got this!

That was Rochdale pitch 2 days after being laid. Not saying there is an issue, just saying we’re obviously not in a rush for it to be ready. I actually asked Darren on twitter when it would be playable and he said “ depends on the weather”
