And looking at the replies to the post it is saying the name never even cane up (Bale I guess) so can't take anything there as 100% correct

Ok mate whatever. The point is Levy has been reported as saying 3 or 4 times infront of large audiences the stadium would be ready. If you choose to ignore all that fine that’s up to you.

It has been reported on here more than 3 or 4 times you are negative... Does that make it true?

Rick Sacks is just reporting what he was told, he even says that he wasnt at the event.

Im sure Levy was confident that it would have been finished, and said something along those lines.
But if he was told that this was the case, how is it a lie? unless he knew that it wasn't going to be completed at that time and the issues with the fire alarms ect then what he said at the time was true to his knowledge

anyway Paul Kramer has been told to post less images, so hope he can get on with some work now...
he does say he has some good news for Monday...

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy 'confident' new stadium will be completed in time for next season, but club 'likely' to request their first four games be played away from home

However, the chairman did say that, with 2,100 people now working on the site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, he was confident the stadiumwould be ready in time.

"It is very exciting," said Levy. "[When I] first went to see Mark he thought I wasn't thinking straight.

"Subject to unforeseen circumstances I am very confident sitting here today that the season we are about to enter into, we will be playing our games here - from the start of the season."

Not one says guaranteed it will be open but confident and even has some saying unless issues come up.

oh ffs I never said levy lied. I’m not being negative. I’m just pointing out that in the last year Levy has said it would be ready on 3 or 4 occasions. And he was wrong every time.

And yet still can't fine a true quote yet others providing quotes that he has never said it would be 100% promised to be ready like you said. Yet you don't listen or want to believe the quotes and just what people think to suit your own agenda.

So what’s your point ? I thought the whole point of this argument was that because levy told Pochettino it must be true and happening. All the info on the last 2 pages shows levy has said exactly same numerous times for it not to be true.

Again, forgive me if I'm wrong it would have been good to go if not for the wiring issues, which was something out of the club's control? So with the reaction from everyone to the delays, why would he lie again?

It's all well and good harking back to what Levy said, but when you use a bit of logic and common sense you'd probably realise that your argument doesn't really add up.

That what you said is wrong. You said this:

And seem to remember he promised 100% it would ready on time in a meeting

Which no quote that has been posted says, yet you still post saying it is true yet can't provide one quote from levy.

Is that at any age? Could also be a woman's game?

Wonder if we can do games one week n hold the next the week after.

He said it would be a ladies game. That was the only 1 I could see at home then.

Only other game is away to ManU at the start of the month.

No idea who told him though, or how many fans turn up to the ladies games.

I'm sure it would get a good turn out with some fans just going to see the stadium.

100% this. And you can quote me on it.

Now, I had to clean this thread up the other day and I really don’t want to do it again so can we talk about the stadium and not who has got the biggest dick on Twitter because quite frankly a great thread is just turning into the battle of the ITKs and frankly that stuff can stay in the open transfer windows threads.

Was just about to post the below

I used to quite enjoy this thread
Embarrassing, petty and boring
Change the record chaps ffs!

Hopefully the scratched record can move on now....

The 2 original test events were going to be an academy game and a legions game.

If the academy game is being switched with a ladies game, will the other game still be the Legions Vs Bayern Munich Legends

No idea if that game was just postponed, or moves

Going from his previous 'news' , he'll probably be informing us that the stadium will be finished by the time Chelsea move into their new home.
