Poor fa chiefs won't be getting their big bonuses for selling wembley. They will no longer be able to afford their new houses. What will they do?

He'll probably build a new Craven Cottage instead and copy our concept

Good luck with that. There are two slight problems though.

1/ that it is a listed building.
2/ they are backed on to a fuck off river.

Just seen an advert for job at the stadium for the duration of 6-8 weeks, make of that what you will??

I have no doubt that work will continue on the stadium well into next season, but that has no bearing on whether the team will be playing matches there or not. I think the plan was always to have the stadium match ready by Sept 15, but not finished for a while after that.

Totally arse about face :cautious:. Most of those who were to decide wanted to guarantee their seats and didn’t want the stadium sold from beneath their bums according to reports. Sounded like it was doomed to failure.

Well they've had their plans approved already but I didn't realise it's only taking it to a 30k capacity. I think we'll be ok

Tbh I was hoping they’d sell Wembley and let England go stadium to stadium around the country.

They still can if they wanted. If they could find other events to hold instead they might.
It was only going to be a few games a year anyway i believe.
