Evening Standard reckon there's an announcement tomorrow
Probably about the shop opening.
Evening Standard reckon there's an announcement tomorrow
You would have thought if the shop was opening on Saturday the club would be making a bit more of a song and dance about it. And you would have expected an announcement by now. Also opening it the day we have an away game seems a bit odd even if it is West Ham. Considering it’s basically the first part of the stadium opening to the public I would have thought they’d have given at least 4 or 5 days notice and probably had TV down there the day before banging the biggest club shop in Europe drum. Definitely something SSN would fill 5 minutes with.
Sky Sports News would be reporting it as follows; You would have thought if the shop was opening on Saturday the club would be making a bit more of a song and dance about it. Why? Clearly cladding is just an aesthetic feature. I’d rather them focus on the critical path to get the stadium open
If I wore one, we could coin #helmetonahelmet dayI for one can't wait for the shop to open. I need me one of those helmets. I hope they let me wear it to the games.
Isn't a helmet helmet a box?If I wore one, we could coin #helmetonahelmet day

Were you wearing an IIPH (Information Intake Prevention Helmet) when you read my post? Its unsubtle message clearly didn't enter your mind (I was calling myself a cock).Isn't a helmet helmet a box?
What's in them two plastic boxes? They're not planting bloody onions are they??!!
You never go helmet to helmet, always arse to arseIf I wore one, we could coin #helmetonahelmet day
You have to think there's more to it than just the shop. I imagine the Tottenham Experience is all part of the attraction which the shop is just part of. It may not be the complete experience but you would think they'll have enough video content, pre-match material and who knows possibly a little bit of a tour of the new stadium in certain areas.Hmm,
Shall I spend £10 on travel and a couple of hours to go to a shop in Tottenham instead of ordering online from my phone and spending £5 on delivery (free if over £50)
I can't believe too many people will go out of their way to go to a shop for a stadium that isn't hosting matches.
I said this on SSC - they'll likely only make enough to keep the shop open (on a good day) on non match days and, at present, there are no match days.
It does lead me to think the stadium itself can't be that far behind.

It's a bit early for onions tbf.
I always used to plant my onion sets around now...
Not if they get them under the grow lamps along with the turf? It's a bit early for onions tbf.
i must be misremembering then - could swear i used to put them in the spring!
