Interesting the vail has started to progress further towards the entrance again now they hadn't added to it for months until recently and that is purely cosmetic so a lot of the serious external work if not most of it must be complete. they initially did the part around by the offices to show what it would look like when the stadium was finished.
Maybe they’ll be able to finish the stadium logo now also? :cautious:;)

You have to think there's more to it than just the shop. I imagine the Tottenham Experience is all part of the attraction which the shop is just part of. It may not be the complete experience but you would think they'll have enough video content, pre-match material and who knows possibly a little bit of a tour of the new stadium in certain areas.

Spot on old bean. Anyone who's done the Nou Camp stadium tour (it's pretty cool actually) knows you end up being forced through the store at the end (ala museum gift shop). The amount of foot traffic plus the fact you're pumped up with some barca love means they sell loads of stuff. all part of the master game plan

Yes I've done the Camp Nou experience and it does seem to just run itself really. I had one of those headsets to provide a little history lesson at any point. Although I did do the individual tour so not sure what the group ones are like. The WHL one I did was much more inclusive and structured because it was in a group. With the Camp Nou you just walked around to wherever there wasn't people in your way.

It’s the thing you take off when you sign a player. We haven’t finished our veil yet so were unable to unveil any new signings in the summer.

Thought our veil was invisible? They've got N'Koudou looking for it for shits and giggles....

....maybe he found it, who knows.

From the cameras today it looks like they're installing the final seats in the upper section of the South end. I know we're all skeptical, but it really does seem like we're getting close. Even some workers walked through the frame earlier with brooms and looked like they were cleaning. You don't start cleaning if there is 3 more months of construction.

The men with brooms have always been there wouldn’t take much notice of that. The west stand veil is becoming slightly infuriating. Just wonder what those cherry pickers have been doing all week. The framework is in place so what are they actually doing up there, surely the veil will be going on soon.

It might not be 3 months of work to get it ready, it might be 1 month of work, 1 month of testing/certificating then 1 month until a game can be arranged.

They seem to take huge strides then it all slows down again in a surge/slow pattern.
They'll do huge areas of the flooring then suddenly slow right to nothing. The entire pitch in 3 days then it looks like nothing much has happened in the bowl since. Big chunks of veil go up in a week, then nothing for weeks after etc etc.

What I will say is that none of the camera's give us any idea how done it is as there isn't a single one inside any part of the stadium.

I was thinking this, but isn't there lighting behind the veil, could be wiring? Knowing that its probably only a hook on system, if it were just the cladding they were installing it would go on quite quickly.

I wouldn't expect to see many people inside the Stadium. Pitchside is pretty close to complete now, it's mostly internal stuff left. Shame there are no cameras inside. Even externally I can't imagine there's too much work that's necessary to host matches. As long as there's access to the turnstiles and back out towards the stations again that's ok. All the things that make it look pretty from the outside can continue outside of home match days.

Cracking pic

Really nice picture. I may just be confirming my own expectations, but his caption seems a bit suspicious to me...

The more this guy posts, the more I am convinced that he isn't in the stadium at all. He's just getting pictures from someone else as posting them as if they were there.

I think he works there, we just have to remember it's like any other job/office/business, people at work chat shit, rumours are started and spoken about as if they were gospel because people want to sound important, same anywhere you work.

I think next weekend seems more likely on the shop. You never know with us not playing till Monday they might have a couple of players down there doing signings.
