Nah it’s shop as well. Don’t think I’ve ever been to a shop that doesn’t take cash. Slightly ridiculous imo.

Lots of places in London are moving this way. I rarely carry cash anymore and use a debit card or phone to pay for stuff. Even vending machines for sweets now have smart device readers.

I realise lots of places are moving that way and I also rarely use cash myself. But it’s still nice to have the option. And as said there’s plenty of people that don’t have a bank account for one reason and another. I just think as long as there is cash in society people should have the option. Companies don’t ban posting mail to them just because they have an email. I understand the reasoning as in time efficiency. But imo it’s just lazy and selfish, especially in a service industry. It’s also a unique place that’s meant to be like a big family for spurs supporters. We shouldn’t be excluding the less fortunate. It’s different with say a cafe, you can just go to another one. But this is meant to be a unique experience. And by the way I’m not being negative, just giving my opinion.

The Wembley shop doesn't take cash either. I think it's the best way considering how time consuming it can be sorting change out.

Although I like Pitt-Brooke there’s absolutely no new info in that at all. Just saw this on NFL as well.

I don't think cash will be around in 20-30 years. As long as technology can keep ahead of the fraudster etc it seems the sensible way forward.
:(Don't think it will effect me though.

Popped over to the shop as had a meeting on the High Road. Got there 20 minutes after opening, so not sure if I missed anything.

Was keen to see how it compared to Barcelona's as that blew me away when I visited this year, can certainly see where Levy took his inspiration from. Wasn't as impressed with our version but nonetheless the scale is unreal, the little touches and nods to the past are impressive.
Disappointed that there wasn't more of a song and dance being made, only had flags being handed out to kids, no other giveaways, no members discount available, assuming the PSV game meant that nobody from the club could be there, even Chirpy was wheeled in in a big bag about 40 minutes after the store officially opened.

Will post some photos in a bit

I'm not sure they would expect it to get busy until the stadium opens. This is the perfect way to get everything right before the big matchday crowds. I'm not sure how busy the shop gets on non matchdays anyway. It's not exactly a place to go shopping around.
