The most completely ridiculous thing about all this, is that if the club had originally said 2 years at Wembley nobody would have batted an eyelid. That would have been totally acceptable and understandable. It’s all completely unnecessary.

But when you look at ssc and see the Anfield forum and trying to work out how to add bits on and realise they will still be discussing that in 10 years. The Chelsea forum which has no posts for weeks. United fans bemoaning the state of old Trafford and Arsenal with a soulless bowl. We are pretty lucky it will absolutely embarrass our rivals.

That sounds great, working as a scuba instructor in the Caribbean. Any particular island?

I'll be learning in Utila (Honduras) so that is more Central America but on the Caribbean sea and then I'd like to move to one of the islands. Not too sure what ones, but as long as there's sea, sun and rum I'll be happy!

I don't get all the moaning about what amounts to peanuts in the great scheme of things in relation to refund interest.
All I want is to make the move as soon as sensibly possible.
If I lose a few bob in the meantime so be it the longer I wait the more I want it COYS

The Wolves home game was a pain in the arse for me anyway, so now I don’t even have to worry about it and get my money credited. Silver linings and all that I suppose.

But will it be a single person who has to personally test each of those detectors / call points etc one by one? Surely there will be a team?

There will be a few of them but they need to check each device one by one to see what it says on the fire panels. Does it go into alarm, is the device/address correct etc...

I think there would still be people moaning if it had been two years from the start but as a whole your post is totally spot on. In the grand scheme of things I think some peoples over reaction to this is amazing.

Personally I hate going to Wembley but the options there if I don't want to go and when we do go into the new ground I still think it will be well worth the wait.

Not that big a deal really is it.

Agree that it's horrendous (drinking pre match, getting away after, atmosphere etc) watching us at Wembley, but I would watch us at Hackney Marshes if that was the only option. Can't get my head around not watching us as it's at Wembley (and I think it's probably more of a hassle for me to get to than most!)

I feel like I need a "super agree" rating for this post.

I was expecting the delay, what fucks me off is that they’re blatantly milking us for interest. If they can refund Chelsea now, why can’t they just refund the rest rather than wait a week before each game.

Us ST holders haven’t received any goodwill during this shit show either, we’re just left with the ball ache of having to remember when to withdraw our money and then rebuy our tickets at Wembley where the atmosphere gradually gets worse and worse with every game.

not having a go at you personally but believe it or not the club are not building the stadium, Mace and it's contractors are. at the moment the stadium has shot up in cost, and at the time where we the 1's paying for the extra staff when we was pushing on (Ok overtime not on the menu now) and to go with that we are paying Wembley a fortune every time we play. they have also upped contracts on a few players, so at what fault are they to be giving goodwill?

if it was their actual fault I could understand, though I do agree though they should of given the refunds in bulks. it would be nice though if it was announced that the fans will receive something if/once Mace have to compensate, even if its a guaranteed discount or freezing next season. the trouble is where do they draw the line on the goodwill? yes ST holders pay up front, but there are fans that have followed us all there lives, and now live here there and all over the world, that there 1 planed trip cost more than some season ticket holders, and a possibility that when they lived in this country they had to give up there ST because of the move.

myself I wished there was a way we could of either stayed at the old WHL, and been able to of completed enough work on the 3 stands that would of given us a chance to finish the rest and be at Wembley this season (not sure if that would of been possible) or just played at Wembley for 2 seasons and saved the embarrassment (not ideal, but at least we would of known).

I think what is winding people up is the constant false hope. It’s like some bird you fancy giving you the come on once a month only to say sorry actually I’m on my period maybe next month. It’s like being punched in the gut once a month. I’d weirdly almost rather they just said 19/20 then I don’t have this false hope every month.

Just wait until 60,000 pour into WHL station...
I know this was tongue in cheek but that's the beauty of White Hart lane, people don't all go the same way home they go North, East, South and West and all points in between. At Wembley after the game they converge at Tottenham they disperse.

No point moaning about it. I'm sure nobody associated with Spurs is happy.
Another couple of months is nothing in the scale of the improvement in facilities it will give once it is usable.
