The council is run by far left people who have of now built nil new housing and have nil new build in the pipeline and no bank in there right mind is going to lend a momentum run council money in any case they are luddites as long as they can stop progress they will as they see progress led by people with money .All people with money are spawn of the devil to these cretins and would rather see the area collapse than allow investors as all investors are bad .
Let me guess, you're a Labour voter, right?

Are those buildings in the 5-10 second mark staying? They look completely out of place. I've often heard people say the area is neglected... those buildings look like they should be demolished.
It's the stadium that's out of place tbf.

I generally do vote labour but not for councils that are run by the far left its a dangerous road to go down voting for people that have no will to be constructive but plenty of energy to be destructive in there will to keep the red flag flying high.

Purely highlighting something I think is odd. Actually just saw the first design did have the name, so wonder why they then ditched it. The club has made a big deal about retaining tradition. There has always been the club name outside the stadium. Why on earth would I come hear to troll the stadium. Anyone that follows me on twitter knows how positive I am about it. People bring up concerns constantly on ssc and have mature debate about it. But as soon as you bring up a concern here you get shot down for being a troll. It’s pretty weird tbh.
Ok, so I think this may answer your query...

This is taken from the planning application and, yes, it is based on the pre-revision West stand frontage, but broadly speaking I suspect it remains the same (the revision application may include the specific updates) But, as you can see, the club plan on having naming, high on the stadium in all four corners. It might only be for stadium sponsorship, but the club may very well be including space for 'Tottenham Hotspur' on the outside too. I should add, in support of this plan being broadly accurate and remaining in force, it is possible to see, now the cladding is wrapping around the front, where the telecom antenna referenced in the top picture is located.

I was worried at the early design stage that reference to the club was a bit limited (and remember the 'Arsenalification' that happened at the Emirates when they made that mistake). But even from these shots, you can see that the club have pushed the architects for amendments which make better reference to the club. For example, the blue tiled areas with worded club references (both in tile and concrete) aren't present in these earlier designs and they have been added to help tie the stadium design to the club even more closely. My fears in this regard have certainly be allayed and I think you can trust the club to ensure, at the very least on non NFL matchdays, that the stadium is very clearly ours.

As a side note, I was thinking about the south end of the club shop. I never remembered the large circular screen being in the design... and it wasn't. I don't know when it was added or if a planning application was needed or made, but the original plan made provision for a fixed and backlit cockerel in that large glass box at the end. I think the screen is a cool change, but there is something less permanent about a screen. Obviously that can show Spurs imagery and logos, but a fixed sign has a permanence to it, whereas a screen on NFL days can be used very differently. I appreciate I sound a bit like coys200 here, but for better or worse, I do like fixed signage and its permanence, because a part of me wants it to be clearly our home even on NFL days! Still, until those days arrive next year, we can't really know what the stadium will look like or how prominent THFC iconography will be.

Cheers for that. I’ve never seen that render before. I’m just a tad confused is that the latest render or an earlier one that was amended. However everything else on that render appears to be there. I think even the antenna appeared couple of days ago that Ssc were having a moan about lol. So maybe these signage screens will appear. But I do suspect they will be more to do with a stadium sponsor or NFL but we will see. It’s interesting the first design pre NFL had the name but current design doesn’t. Which makes me believe it was NFL related.
What I don’t really get is why though. You would think when the NFL come to town you would want the club name as visible as possible. Basically it would be free brand awareness to the USA public. The NFL teams coming will vary so they know it doesn’t need to feel like ONE teams specific home, it would be a generic home for NFL. Unless it’s forward thinking to a NFL London franchise when it will then effectively be a shared stadium between two teams. That’s the only logic to it I can see.

What's with that roll-off drop on the side of the pitch, looks pretty dangerous? Is the football pitch going to be noticeably up from ground level?
I'm not sure it will be like this when there's a game on

Here goes Moura down the wing, past one player, past another, and wait...where's he gone?

It's from the application made immediately following the Populous redesign. The West Stand entrance is the only significant change since.

The NFL is an influencing factor. Levy said when interviewed at the time of the NFL announcement that it has to be possible to hand the stadium over 'clean' in a similar fashion to the requirements of UEFA for the Champions League. What that means in terms of THFC or sponsor branding in or outside the stadium hasn't been clarified, but what does seem clear is it means there's going to be things which are allowed and things which need to be switched off or hidden when the NFL are in town and we'll find out the detail when it actually happens.

There are a couple of people up where this big cockerel is to be positioned. I wonder if it will go up there today? LS6 on YouTube

And it's going in right now.
