It’s not that I don’t want new fans with new trends, it’s that I want those new fans value what happens on the pitch above all else when they’re there.

Speaking from my own experience but it's really hard to feel what you feel without having attended a game or two first. I went from Sweden with a friend of mine who's got almost zero interest in football and know almost nothing about it but after visiting WHL and seeing Spurs v Chelsea, he actually became a bit of a closet fan. Not hardcore by any means but he really enjoyed the experience and has started to talk positively about Spurs and his trip when asked about football.

If you close the door to tourists "who don't care", the influx of new fans would drastically decrease. I want everyone to see what a fantastic club we are and I have no issue at all with casual fans visiting our games, especially children and people from abroad.

Having an announcement of the opening date will be very fitting as we are currently on page 1882.

Ben still holding to March opening date on FTL.

There's also pics on SSC of a calendar with a post-it on the 30th December saying Test Event 1.

If Levy can change the mentality of supporters from wanting to leave 5 minutes early to hanging around for an hour after matches financially it could be huge. At a guess I’d say the average spend at old WHL on matchday was £5-10 ahead. If they can get that up to £10-15 ahead you could be talking an extra £20-25m in concessions alone a season. Then add the extra corporate the new shop money and the concessions we will get from non football events. I couldn’t even put a figure on it but it’s gonna be huge. Do I really think any of it is to stagger the transport, not really but it sounds good. Ultimately you have to remember this is a multipurpose purpose arena that will host 16 non football events.

I only feel safe walking down seven sisters when there's a shite load of spurs fans doing the same, sod doing that on my own two hours after FT.

Oh shame you should be happy for the posters on here who got lucky. Good luck to them I say and can’t wait to hear all about it afterwards

I am, just wanna see it all with my own eyes rather than all the photos that’ll be posted on here next weekend that’s all.

Same reason I’m not looking at the cams now, wanna see it all myself when we rock up for the first time.

I had a change to go to Selhurst for our match there and I took it. I dont care. And i wouldnt care if one of them came over here and wanted to take in a football, baseball, hockey or basketball game. Its an experience and a fun time(especially football tailgates). All should be welcomed if they want to go take in a game no matter where it is and no matter the sport.

You should be banned from entering the UK a national health risk:whistle:

Executive members got an email this morning saying their membership packs won’t be going out during Christmas to avoid postal problems. Perhaps suggesting that the United game would be a bit too close.

The north lower slightly-left-of-centre gangway is really triggering my OCD.

Not many people would've noticed that. Looks like it's just one line of seats out of position. It was maybe a West Ham or Arsenal builder who couldn't measure off the plans properly.
