It's worse and closer than OT.

Genuinely not seen anything quite like it at the 50plus grounds I've been to.

I'm sure this isn't an oversight (obviously!) But it will be interesting when play the first game there...

The thing is you’ve seen this close up, and provided pictures. Too many in here don’t understand the dangers. I have seen many a player go over a hoarding and land on a supporter, these players are going to land on concrete

That is way too dangerous to play top flight football on. Imagine a player stretching at the far post at pace and taking a tumble? They'll break their neck on the hoarding. I cannot believe we will be allowed to play with the pitch that close to a steep slope into a fixed object.
You’re obviously wrong. It has been passed and allowed. I’m sure every safety rule has been adhered to and complied with. Do you really think Spurs have invented and created a new worldwide standard in terms of playing conditions? Really?

Edit - and this is from someone who saw first hand, Graham Roberts put Charlie Nicholas into the second row of seats at Highbury.

Should we put some mats around just in case?

Would of made sense to have the run off flat. If your going down a slope at pace your not be able to hurdle a hoarding without falling forward and the picture of the side of the pitch doesn’t have anywhere to put anything soft to fall onto. They would fall straight into the concrete or metal on top

I’m sure it won’t be a problem

It is done for a reason. So that the advertising boards and photographers don't get in the way of the fans view and lets the stands be close to the pitch.

The drop is what 30-40 centimeters over a distance of 3 meters? It's not that steep of a gradient with room to stop. More room than at the old whl.

I’m obviously no engineer ? but at a guess I’d say the angle of the slope is fixable. Might take millions and months though. Just make the bits underneath a bit longer sure that will sort it out.

It’s pointless arguing, if you can’t see the dangers that’s your choice.

30-40 Cm ? Someone that was there said it’s 6 ft or 1.8 metres.

Lol. The pitch level is about half the height of the advertising board. Unless the bloke in the picture is 12 ft tall (the board comes to his waist) then they are wrong.
