If there was a clash I'd expect the NFL game to be moved to a Saturday.
Yeah. That is not happening. NFL does not move games to Saturday for a variety of reasons - and certainly not to shorten a week for the team(s) that have to travel to London to play.

NFL avoids conflicts with college football on Saturdays. Its not until late in the NFL season, when the college season is over, that the NFL plays games on Saturday.

Think the mirror had the same, but taken down. This one's from the sun
I can’t see the first game being mid week

Why would it stop us from playing games on a Sunday? We have to play certain games on a Sunday - after European games for example. If there was a clash I'd expect the NFL game to be moved to a Saturday.
I don't think it would work like that, we could move the pitch out of the way for an NFL game the next day but I can't see us replacing the grass pitch with only a day to repair the joins. As for CL games aren't the group games always on the same weeks every year?
As far as the first game goes I suspect it will be a weekend game but I sort of like the idea of the first game under lights, what a night that could be.

That’s cool and I’m all for renting it out for other shit just don’t want anyone else to be able to claim it’s their home. Only we should be able to do that. Otherwise its not “our ground” as you said in your post. It’s ours and whoever the fuck else.

Did you get upset when the monarchs called whl home? Or did you even notice?

I don't think repairing the joins will take a day - brush some soil over the join maybe, mow the grass and it will be good to go. Oh and put some goal posts up. Details details..

Surely getting the NFL pitch ready will take the time - all the rails will need to be carefully covered over - I'm not sure we ever got to the bottom of how that works - Velcro was the last suggestion - and then all the infill will need to be reapplied/smoothed out. Then the lines repainted - plus don't they paint the away team's logo on an end zone? Oh and put a bag over the cockerel. This all sounds a good day's work.

The first evening game will be a nightmare - we had delayed kickoffs at OWHL because of evening traffic problems. As long as the club can tolerate potential banks of empty seats and queues of people still coming in at half time for the big opening, then fine.

11 year old me was kicking off mate. A permanent stain on our illustrious history.

I take it you’re indifferent towards it all or would you have rathered they played at WHL permanently?

Didn't they say the pitch can be transitioned from NFL to Football, and visa versa, in 45 mins?

I thought the whole idea of the design was to host different events on the same day.

The ramp doesn't look so steep in this photo (from SSC).

More drivel from people inventing stories. Default setting for games on the OS is Tottenham stadium until they change it to Wembley . Announcement on 7 jan will sort it. Certainly won’t be the Watford game

I very much doubt they'll announce when the first game will be on the 7th, so don't get your (and everyone elses) hopes up.
It'll likely be a few paragraphs to say how testing went and what the forecast is.

A few days ago a worrying number of fans thought we were gonna win the league.
At the moment, a large number of people expect to be told the first game is gonna be announced next Monday

We've been sorely let down on the first of those two.....

I think there are slopes at a lot more grounds than you realise. It’s when you start looking for it that you start to notice it. Can’t remember which game it was yesterday not United as aware of that must have been palace. But remember when guy took corner his first couple of steps were below level of pitch.
