Fact is, Warnocks gonna complain no matter what. If we play out the rest of the season at Wembley, when the new stadium is ready, and lose to one of his relegation rivals. He'd be complaining we should have been playing them at the NWHL.
If it don't go his way, he's gonna be complaining, end of.

What must be taken into account is the fact that Mr Niel Warnock is a nasty piece of work .
I vividly remember him being caught by the pitch side mike saying to one of his players after being fouled to "break his legs" I can't recall the game it was quite a few years ago and maybe someone on here can remember which game .
Well my point is he is a really rotten git and his talk about us has nothing to do with fair play but all to do with his need to try and have a go at us where we are at our weakest and this is typical of the bully boy attitude trust me this man is an arsehole.
As a sidenote his youth coach namely Craig Bellamy has been charged with bullying by way of anti English rhetoric used against a young lad ; well thats nice to know .

If Warnock and his team took care of their own business and won enough points, they wouldn't have to worry about any other team's results. Has that thought ever occurred to him?

He is just like an old fart stinks the place up for a bit and then disappears. He will be gone back to the championship in no time. Anyone else think he looks like an old woman going through the change?

Warnock's problem is obviously that he feels we will take time to get used to the new ground and during that period we won't be as formidable as we have become at Wembley thereby giving his competitors for the drop an advantage over his club.
To be fair he may have a point which is why ordinarily clubs aren't allowed to play league games on different grounds within the same season, however he could have avoided the problem by agreeing to reverse the fixture back in September, I suspect he didn't because he thought we'd be in the new ground by now and therefore it was to his advantage to make us play at Wembley and let his competitors face us at the new ground by when we'd have settled in, in fact I have no doubt that's what he thought.
I'm sure nobody thought we'd still be at Wembley now but it doesn't alter the fact that we have the agreement to play at Wembley and then move into the new ground whenever that is, there didn't seem to be a time limit associated so no problem and Mr Warnock is just a grumpy old man.
Like I said in the match day thread, Warnock's complaint is pretty pointless. Why?

Huddersfield - 8 points adrift and looking like they are heading down
Fulham - We have already played and beat
Southampton - We have already played and beat
Burnley - We have already played and beat
Newcastle - If we don't move in by mid-Feb, it will be at Wembley. Newcastle will be fine IMO anyway.
Crystal Palace - Will play in March

Considering that we have already played the teams most likely to go down, then I think he's just showing his bitter, snide personality that he often shows.

I asked my Huddersfield supporting pal where he'd rather play us at. He said neither but if he had to choose Wembley because he thinks at our new stadium it'll be next to impossible due to the atmosphere it's likely to create.

Although Warnock is a massive dick in terms of fairness he’s actually correct. But it’s actually the teams that have to play us at new stadium that should be complaining. Nobody knows for sure if it’s an advantage or disadvantage but common sense would make you think it’s an advantage to move. Unfortunately I would have to agree that over 19 games conditions should be exactly the same for every club. If say it was Chelsea and they’d lost to city and Liverpool at Wembley and then we had to play them at a new Stamford bridge can’t say I’d be happy. So while Warnock personal gripe is redundant his actual point is valid.

"The Premier League" is the 20 clubs, so if enough of them think it's unfair to let us move grounds then they can vote accordingly. Anyone who voted against us could then kiss goodbye to our solidarity on related issues though, I'm sure.

The January transfer window completely makes that argument void. The bigger clubs can go out there and improve their squads so that when others play them the starting 11 is much stronger than when the other team faced them. Alternatively, when a new manager comes in. Would you rather face United under Mourinho or Solskjaer? United were struggling against the likes of Palace, Solskjaer comes in and it's totally different. IMO it's the same with a stadium move.

just quoting the bloke from the Fighting Cock (Flav IIRC)

Nope. It was reported in a few papers it would be that but quickly taken down on websites. It was due to them looking at our fixtures and seeing that not game not being down as Wembley, but this is because we haven't announced if it is being moved yet or not.

It's the same as the last few months where we announce the changes closer to the games and not months away as things can change.

Well whether we play at the new stadium, Wembley or any away ground, Kane will score regardless.
If there's a goal then you're in Kanes house.

is the smart money now on Watford at Home as the first game at the new gaf?

I personally don't think there's any chance it'll be midweek for the first game. It doesn't allow people any time to get there before or spend time after the game to use the shiny new shop, restaurants and bars. Levy will want it to be a weekend so that people can be there hours before and potentially after.

It'll be open the second it's allowed to be open. Are we really going to spend another £2/3M renting Wembley for a game, and miss out on £2/3M in revenue from NWHL just so it is light outside?

There's other factors though, an extra 25,000 people verging on the stadium for the first time all within an 1-2 hours before the game and all leaving at the same time. Whereas if it's the weekend it will be far more spread out both coming and going.

Isn't that the case for every evening game?

I think we should worry about the test events being booked in first before we even consider the opening game.... 2 test events to be organised and to happen and be signed off needed, i doubt the league would allow us to book a game in without this all being confirmed, especially after last time
