The way things are going and the noises we are hearing I’ll just be relieved if we are in for 1st home game 19/20.

62K is the capacity of the new stadium though. Are we sure it isn't 5 games at NWHL and the CL at Wembley? Interestingly if the reports of Palace being the opener are true then that's 5 home games. If it was at Wembley it would be 6 including Arsenal.

Hadn't thought of that. So 62k so they can sell tickets and know that wherever it is, people will have a seat?

It’s for Wembley. It’s on the official site

So I wonder with 6 home games awaiting confirmation that leaves the Arsenal game as the odd one out. Maybe we're able to get the full capacity at Wembley for that one (as probably has been agreed in the initial agreement with Wembley).

I doubt we'll fill the 62K though.

Well it could be that they know what the problem is but the solutions they keep trying are failing spectacularly...

August turning into September which turns into October which turns into January which turns into February which has now become March and will in all likelihood become August again which then turns into September. It’s a vicious cycle.

I used to have one of these when I was a kid:

Whenever I fell over them handlebars that gear stick used to turn that into a vicious cycle :cautious:

Is it even going to be ready for next season?

If the fire system and operating panel isn't going to work and needs seriously changing then you've got to start to ask why they didn't just rip the whole system out in September and start again from scratch.

I worked on the stadium for around 6 months putting the crane supplies in and the initial temporary building supplies (have previously posted pics). Just spoke to my old manager and Tyco have told Levy & co this week that this season is a write off. Pinch of salt and all that but comes directly from Tyco contracts manager straight to my Tottenham season ticket holder ex manager.

I'm guessing they felt it was something that could he remedied without doing that. Plus it was probably more expensive at that moment. Looks like they got it wrong.

Thanks for passing on... That's a two recognised ITK's, plus Stac on Twitter and now this, looking very likely it'll be next season now.

I only called him because of what I’ve seen on here in the last 24 hours, but the fact he came out with pretty much the same info when all I asked him was for an update seems pretty damning.

I think the fact they kept yesterdays "contingency" annoucement about Wembley off social media says a lot, they chose not to post it on Twitter or Facebook, can't think why

The dad of one of the lads in my son's team was trying to prattle on about our shit attendances this season.
He claimed that, because we'd averaged only 42,000 all season and that the United game was 80,000 then obviously half the fans were supported United.
He went quiet when I said that we've had a cap on capacity all season and that only a handful of games are allowed higher.
