28 days now since the last update, here's hoping we see that announcement picture today!

I’m as impatient as the rest but guess there’s not much to announce?
Obviously the NLD refunds and on sale date, but until Palace and Brighton cup run ends not sure they can announce anything for them.
Really hoping for test events to be announced and then we can start to believe its happening.

hope the away dressing rooms are the polar opposite and have been designed to be as uncomfortable as possible. Why would you not do that!?!?

UEFA rules state that the dressing rooms must be the same size. I did a tour of the Amex and the two rooms certainly had different levels of comfort and equipment, but they were teh same dimensions. For example, in the home dressing room the manager has an office. In the away dressing room there is also an office- it is locked shut though.

Foxes Thoughts on the new Stadium

Spurs are just an incompetently run club anyway

legends on the pitch, legends in the ownership and bottling their stadium. At least they are consistent

Does look good doesn't it? Fans close to the pitch as well.

Looks very nice tbh. That big single tiered Kop will be sensational.

Fair play to Spurs having a stadium which isnt the usual boring designs, looking forward to seeing a City match in person there at some point. Pity its in an absolute shithole of an area

Remember that Arsenal took a decade to pay back half of a debt much smaller than this, and became much more careful spenders just as huge foreign money came into other clubs. (If you think Wenger’s management was the only reason for their decline, I beg to differ.)

Even Man U, the sponsorship-generating giants of English football, sometimes watch pennies due to the Glazers’ debt. Here come Spurs with a bigger loan, just as interest rates are rising for the first time in years. And Brexit and/or the world economy going into recession could easily trash corporate spending in the UK. Drying up the well Levy is surely planning to tap.

That would leave Spurs’ STHs to make up tens of millions a year in debt service. Daniel, turn that Cheese Room into a Beer Garden !

I speculate, of course, but this could be Spursy indeed. Will they become a selling club for the next decade? Let’s make a January offer for Son and find out.

This stadium is going to be the dogs bollocks to be fair.

Looks nice but 100% it'll be quiet. Can't wait though.

Spurs desperately hoping the stadium will be ready in time for their Europa League games in the New Year....

Ngl, I'm a fan. Love the "kop" bit. Definitely fancy an away trip when it's open. Shame we had our new stadium built in the identikit era along with Derby, Soton et all because Brighton's and now this are superb.

Thats a nice looking cock stadium.

Does it look like if the Etihad and the Emirates had a baby to anyone else?

I don't like the curve of the stand opposite the big stand but the rest of that ground is sensational.

Agreed. Loads of moaning and mocking by other fans, but boy oh boy, this ground

Just a shame it looks so absolutely out of place from the outside.

Looks like the best stadium in the league, fair play! Reminds me of the Donbass which is probably the best stadium I have ever been in.

Can't wait to go. I always liked going to White Hart Lane but this looks impressive.

Sums up levy and their shit house ownership. It's all about money. They couldn't give a single **** about their fans, the community or country. No tradition and no heritage. Awful, scummy club who think they're important because Danny Blanchflower once played for them. They've even devalued the prestige of Wembley in their efforts to save a few pennies. I'd be embarrassed to support them.

looks great that ground does, fantastic job.

Please bankrupt them. Please bankrupt them. Please bankrupt them.

Been shown loads and loads of pictures taken inside the stadium and in fairness, it is an impressive sports venue. The scale is hard to get from pictures but I’m told it feels absolutely huge.

29k at Wembley tonight. Even the fans have had enough of it.

Less 3,000 Watford fans
Less 2,000 (approx) tourists
Less 4,000 corporate & hospitality tickets
Gives Tottenham a hardcore of 20,000 supporters.
Will never be a big club.

We took more than that to the Community Shield. (Leicester vs Man Utd, summer's day outing)

Yeah you can definitely compare the two events... (this guy gets it)

Why dont they just delay it until next season. The league should just force them to stay at wembley now its beyond a joke. Have a new stadium for new season, new hype might do them good. Im sure it will be an awesome stadium when completed but they deserve to have the best of something in the EPL as the league title they will never win. Side note: instead of fancy manager/player seats will they just install wooden ikea chairs?

I think they want Pochettino to manage in the new stadium. He’ll be off in the summer. (Bitter tears of hope)

Wow, a real mix of admiration, jealousy, hatred and hope in our downfall. I'm surprised they aren't all on medication with all those conflicting emotions.

We can today report that remedial works on the safety systems in the new stadium are near completion and we shall then move forward to the final stages of testing the fire detection and alarm system and its integration with the other safety systems.

The success of this testing is critical to our ability to obtain a safety certificate and open the stadium.

We can confirm, therefore, that we shall play our Premier League match against Arsenal on Saturday 2 March at 12.30pm at Wembley Stadium.

Daniel Levy, Chairman, said: "Once again, thank you all for bearing with us and for the great support we have received from so many different quarters. These next few weeks are pivotal."

We shall provide a further update in due course. Ticketing and refund details for the Arsenal fixture will follow shortly.

Thought we might get some test event news... oh well

Last couple of fixtures updates (Watford and Arsenal), we've had on the Wednesday, 3 weeks before they are scheduled to play.
Following that logic it seems we should get an update around 20th Feb.

So it sounds like our single stand will be referred to as the kop by a lot of people. I really hope people can get in the habit of calling it the Park Lane. Maybe even the Park Lane Kop will do. I'm not sure if I'm alone but I dont want it to share the same reference as Liverpool or anyone else. I know kop is a generic term for a single tier stand but ours is our own and deserves its own label.

Christ, they really hate us. So much unsubstantiated bitter nonsense in there ("Spurs are just an incompetently run club anyway" - WTF is that guy on?).

Nonetheless satisfying to see that most of them acknowledge the stadium looks amazing despite their twat tinted spectacles.
