Unless you have some direct links, you don't know if any of that is true/matter of fact though.

Exactly, if the stadium is ready and we are in CL quarter league finals I cannot believe the club will not push that as the 1st game. IMO that would be an immense way to open a new stadium

Until the club come out with an announcment its all guess work !!

April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain
May she will stay
Resting in my arms again

I'm sure it will once its finished.
Looking at the picture below the cladding around south stand doesn’t have any of the small roles in to have light shine through.

Yeah the south stand cladding is solid so not sure how it could light up. But you’ve got a massive glass aspect below it so really it’s not needed.

If the testing info has been correct meaning there’s about 7 days left, I don’t really get how they can make a big announcement tomorrow. Guess we shall see.

If the remaining faults are discrete, contained, local and have known solutions, they could take they view that they'll fix them and then get the necessary test events scheduled.

That's four 'ifs'. I'm not sure that the contractors employed by Mace can count that high, let alone make those distinctions.

My two pence worth....from what I understand the first game to be played will be a weekend kick off first. The police do not want an evening game because this causes much more headaches. The club want people to be at the stadium earlier as most would. Im going to throw my hat in the ring and call the first game being the weekend of 13th April against Huddersfield.

It's certainly true that in the medium-long term Spurs want people at the stadium earlier, and to stay later, but I can promise you Levy and Co. don't give a monkeys about that at the moment. They'd snap your hand off tonight if you offered them everyone arriving at 2.45pm, being seated at 2.59pm, and being on the bus back home at 5.05pm. Extra beer sales are a concern for another day. Bigger fish to fry for now than frying fish.

They don't just want people to stay at the stadium to make extra money though, they also want to minimize travel congestion by spreading out the times that people arrive and leave the stadium.

They can’t control that though, they can do their best and make a huge effort but ultimately you can’t stop people leaving whenever they want to. I can’t imagine that the stadium operating licence hinges on something they have little control over.

First time in years I watched the draw on monday, was so hoping they’d get one of the Manchester clubs.

Like I said, I’m abroad from the 11th - 18th April so fa cup and champions league orderbof fixtures has suddenly become very meaningful
