That’s always been the case yet people have shared ST for years.

They aren’t going to know who is who. I wouldn’t worry

Agreed

There is no photo ID when you scan your Stadium Access card

If they want to stop my 84 year old dad from getting in (who’s been going to WHL since the 1930's) then good luck to them!!

Thought it would be good for him to get a look of the new place when it’s not so packed....

Personally I think they will scan every seat in the place and work out who is sitting in it. They’ll then work out only 60% are consistent (at the moment) and go “oh shit”. They’ll then try and give the frighteners but may come a little unstuck there, and then slowly climb down. Undoubtably they will see who is in the stadium. At the end of the day it needs to be full. But of course that’s majorly against the whole concept of the hospitality areas where patrons are entitled to invite anyone they want to their areas. I anticipate letters/emails warning people. Of course on a Wednesday night with 40k fans, then they may not want to get heavy and a decision will have to be made - piss off loyal fans vs exploit. Sorry folks, just me rambling...

What if they ask for confirming ID? Like a debit card which in a cashless stadium everyone will have?

No chance. Your not gonna get ID’d going into the stadium. Unless they add your picture to your stadium access card it’s nothing to worry about imo. My dad hasn’t been in 8 years since he moved abroad, I just pass out his ticket to other friends and family. Never had a problem. Including the fan familiarisation event.

Just me saying they’ll know who is where. More so than ever before.

How old is he? Concession to other family members, who aren’t? Bet the club will try and stop that.

He’s in his 50’s, it’s just a regular ticket no concessions.

I agree with what you said about monitoring people’s access. Wasn’t there a report about a London Stadium introducing AI with facial recognition scanning in the future. I just don’t think we are at that point just yet.

The access getting into the familiarisation event was a nightmare and that was 6k fans staggered across a few hours. I don’t think they will have the time, resources and people’s patience to individually check people to see if they have another form of ID to match the ticket they are using.

Let’s hope so, because we have 2 ST’s for myself and my 2 older sons who share it. There should not be a problem there but I bet Spurs will try and clamp down on that. My father in law also has a ST but very occasionally cannot go because of health reasons (he is getting on). It is a shame if that seat remains empty. I understand the club will try and exploit this and every opportunity. I wonder to what extreme?

My dad and I have shared a season ticket for years as neither of us can afford our own or go to every game. Luckily we have the same name, so unless any ID checks go as far as comparing age as well then we should be OK.

Concept v reality. I think the club would concede if forced. After all if I were to go to the theatre or a concert and we’re unable to at the last minute then in theory I would like to reserve the right to pass this on to whoever I wanted to. The problem is where it crosses price bands ie. confessions, but I would imagine this would be minimal.

They can have a swob for my DNA analysis but I draw the line at blood

I’m afraid or needles

I suppose a chip stapled into my neck would be fine as well

Anything to stop me getting access to Levy’s box with his silver cockerel or the underground car park

I understand that it will be possible to transfer your ticket to another named person if you can’t go yourself.

It’s called Ticket Share and you an register up to 20 friends on your network to take advantage of this facility. The only bit I don’t understand is that it says they hsve to be registered with a client reference number so not sure how that works if they are not members ?

You can have a client reference number and not be a member. My Mrs has one and we get the occasional ticket for her when games go on general sale.

Can you PM me how please? This will cover my arse if I can transfer the ticket to people in my network each time! (To those that are not members)

I think what used to be a problem was people selling on their season tickets to someone else, people who for various reasons stopped going would keep their season ticket and sell it onto a friend or family member preventing fans on the waiting list getting one. I know of someone who had one for about ten years and it wasn't ever his. Hopefully that won't be such a problem with the new stadium increase in numbers but I reckon the club will be more vigilant.

I think you normally just go to the ticket page and you should see the option to register when you go to buy tickets. There aren't any tickets on sale at the moment though so you might need to wait.

Edit. Just found this link when I looked at booking tickets for the Spurs Ladies game https://login.tottenhamhotspur.com/...Url=/tottenhamhotspur/checkout&tenantId=SPURS
