Couldn't sleep last night so got up and purchased tickets for my grandson using his Hotspur

try Specsavers :)
I tried again to buy 2 tickets 1for myself (one hotspur member) and 1 for my wife (non member). I assign the second seat to my wife and it won't let me purchase although she is in my group and her name and a number, similar to my SRN, are displayed on the site.

Totally baffled! Assume I must wait until they go on GS but by then I won't want to bother.
I'll wait till next season and get her a membership too then maybe we'll have more luck. Certainly can't afford a £45 membership for what 5 home games left.

Yep, it's members only, so your wife can't go unless a) they put it on general sale or b) she joins up.

Part of me wishes they don't get enough attendance for the U18's game but that just annoyance that I can't take my mrs without shelling out more money than I can afford. Also have to find somewhere safe to park near the ground ( half hour walk or suchlike).
Reason we went down Xmas day to see the stadium, no parking restrictions and lighter traffic down from Lincolnshire. Well worth it too, mrs even said she's becoming a Spurs fan now, mainly because of our new stadium but also that we have so many England players and don't pull them from games like other top teams.

You could always try emailing or phoning the ticket office and see if they are going to go general sale but at the moment members only. Customer service at Spurs not that great when I asked to be moved at Wembley in the first season they told me didn't have any available seats . So about 50000 St's and Wembley st's out of 90000 seats and they didn't have enough seats available !!!!

They probably had a certain number of sections for ST's and GA's and no crossover.
Same as the new stadium. I couldn't get a ST in the south stand (last buying window) but I very much doubt every one of those 17,500 seats are ST holder seats.

Yes but at every Wembley game the same seats not occupied by an ST came up available for sale in the member window and went to general sale for virtually every game , they couldn't be bothered with the hassle of issuing a new stadium card. Fortunately this season I never bothered claiming my old seat and went Wembley Club, better view & softer seats.

Yep I got sucked in bought the £50 membership then realise it won't sell out. Just gonna do all I can to see it in the flesh before TV for a match and then done with it after being mugged off. I'll be going to shitty cup games where the prices are half reasonable but being ripped off is not going to be sustainable for fans and the consequences will be bear fruit next season once the novelty factor wears off

Ha ha ha you've been Donnered

I see Sly Sports (deliberate) are running the usual bollocks story about poor results following a stadium move.

They point to West Ham and Arsenal dropping more points after moving, ignoring the fact they went from tight old fashioned stadiums to generic big bowls. They seem to ignore the fact we're essentially going the other way after almost 2 seasons at Wembley.
Its unlikely we'll ever go unbeaten at home again, that's not the norm.

If they want a more accurate comparison, they need to look outside of the PL and at Juventus, who, like us, moved from a gigantic shitty bowl to a purpose built, smaller stadium of their own.
They did go unbeaten in their first season there winning 13 and drawing 6.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that till recently we had best away record in Europe. I think Wembley has toughened us up and in the long term will be a benefit. I think this team has almost become immune to its surroundings. Impossible to see how this move could be a negative.
