They said it was unlikely to be ready before 2018-19. Always wise to cover your arse just in case more problems crop up—if they announced 2017 and it didn't happen for some reason just imagine the uproar.

'Kin hell, you're not kidding. Let's face it we know what histrionics ocur when a player is out injured for one game more than originally estimated. FECK!

So when do people reckon our first game will be? As far as I can tell there is no definitive date, so I'm gonna hazard a guess...

Saturday 15th August 2015.

Any reason to doubt that? So less than 1000 days to go!

I think this picture is more accurate of your condition once the stadium has finally been built: :p

I think it will eventually be delayed until 2019 at least.

What was this clown thinking???

I think the above date is when we will eventually get the all clear to start to build the stadium.

July / August 2018 - two or three test games, gradually building up to full capacity in the final pre season game.......v Real Madrid (club "partnership" has to be good for something).

Would like our last game at the Lane to be against Notts County (our first game at the Lane).

Really hope we don't make a fuss about moving as if it's the end of an era. The way I see it, we're just rebuilding our existing stadium on the same enlarged site, just shifted slightly north.
That the new stadium overlaps the existing ones lends credence to this view.
The more we push this as fact, the more fans will continue calling it WHL.

Now I'm in a dilema - what'll happen first - see Spurs in a Cup Final again, the stadium officially opening or me dying? Not sure I could lay odds on any of those being the correct call. :(

Unless you've got something terminal it'll be a cup final, the new stadium won't be for another two years at least.

The club will certainly make a big deal of the final game in the old stadium. And rightly so, IMO.

Fans will continue to call our home White Hart Lane regardless.
