Eh? This is absolutely believable. We have no set discernable transfer budget. Our "transfer budget" is our transfer policy, which is not spending much more than we make on sales. We pay for the stadium, wage budget and operating expenses with the tv/prize money, match day and commercial money. We've secured a loan facility for the new stadium if needed and we'll have a naming rights deal for it as well.Struggle to believe this one. It's going to be our biggest outlay so it's bound to have some impact on other areas.
The team still needs to streamline; the likes of Chadli, Dembele, Townsend need to go. I really don't see how they improve the team & it's difficult to justify their inclusion.
I think its a little unfair when people pass judgment on the outlay of our recruitment. The last 36 months have proved that a truck-load of money & poor scouting don't a good team make. We need to be shrewd, but brave in our player additions. I want to see players who love to be direct; that have speed. I really hope we do something in January.
I, for one, support the club as we transition to the new stadium, but I just want to be a little bit more courageous & dynamic.
According to the minutes of the meeting, published on the Trust’s website, Levy indicated that transfer funds would remain ring-fenced
This thread is full of little rays of sunshine isn't it.
He's been one of the best signings from 2013, scored 12 goals last season and only cost 7 million. No way should we sell, we need him.Why pick on Chadli?

I can see it, he scores a lot, but slows down our play and doesn't press like our other options. Why pick on Chadli?
