The stadium is required to comply with revised EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) rules for 2013/14 season for Category 1 Academies (including Spurs) it must play a number of Development League 1 matches at the Training Centre, in addition to hosting matches at its White Hart Lane (WHL) stadium and requires a new criteria for Category 1 Academy Venues hosting Development League 1 matches. This requires a range of other measures that Academy Venues have the ability to accommodate: a minimum of 500 spectators under cover.
The overall Stand structure is 93.6m long, 4.3m wide at its deepest and 3.7m high ie its designed to be as low on the ground as is practical so only a few rows of seats, but the full length of the pitch.
The height of the stadium means its unlikely to be used for a TV gantry - maybe if we get one the TV camera will need to be attached to a floodlight !
Spurs have taken 'Pre application' advice from Enfield Council, and the Planning Department has made its recommendation to the Planning Committee who meet on 25 February ::
That planning permission be GRANTED subject to conditions (on page 16 of the linked document)
