i think we will do well. The central pairing have enough nous and vim to hold Newcastle in check. Looking for Delli to show some of his form from the 2016/2017 season. Probably banking on Eriksen to pull the strings, hope he brings his A game with him.

Looks like Lamela's injury was more serious than they let on. Broadway Danny still on the outer. Neither are on the bench.

Not sure about that. I think it's just because Tripps and Rose are having longer recovery periods

trippier i can understand but rose didn't exactly play a great deal at the world cup, plus there's still a lot of talk of him maybe going abroad on loan somewhere.

Hope Moura plays right side and not as an inverted lefty.

Depends how long Wanyama and winks are out for. When they are back we are fine imo

Both of them are injury prone. Hate to say it but you can’t really trust them to stay fit the whole season

Team looks strong on paper, but all depends on what shape Vertonghen, Davies, Alli and Kane are in. The last two in particular. Sissoko has not had much of a pre-season either.

I was really angry and still now over the TW but now the season starts and nothing can be done until Jan. Time to support over beloved
Lilly white. I do hope after city and maybe liverpool we are still good enough if there are no major injury problems.

Maybe that’s true regarding Wanyama and his injuries are on the same ankle but I think winks has just been unlucky with different injuries

Sissoko-Dier looks uninspiring but now we have Moura who can unlock defences. So this might actually work.

Summed up well there by Jamie Redknaop. Never thought I would say that. Not easy but maybe missed a slight trick.

Sissoko has a few negatives but being slow isn’t one of them
He's got a good right hook:
