Aren't Newcastle fans (and Benitez) in melt-down mode after the TW too?
Well my Toon supporting mate is, but then again he's permanently in melt-down mode with Mike Ashley, so much so that I've had to mute our group chat. Things are not well, it's grim up north (east).

One of the advantages of not signing anyone is that they all know well enough how Poch wants them to play, they don't need a full pre-season!

Seeing that 2 man midfield seriously reflects how desperately we need a top quality complete CM.

We do need a CM but Sissoko is fine for a match like this against Newcastle. He comes in and does a job. It's the matches that we're going to have to play him against City, Liverpool, etc, that I'm worried about.

Happy to be up at 4:30 am and that says something!

COYS!

Team thoughts: strong, but my same angst since we lost modric and Sandro. Midfield could use some strengthening...

Here we go again, COYS lets hit the headlines with a positive performance on the pitch...as it will keep the pundits at bay for a couple of days at least from bringing up the TW.
