Just like for England, Kane dropping deeper and deeper as his fitness fails him. 3/4 players ahead of him when we attack.
I guess we can’t blame him today after his summer but Not sure what he needs, Games a Rest? Unquestionable that he’s looked very different after come back from injury though.
I hope he gets his sparkle very soon.

Poor poor performance. But wins a win. Kane looked so far off the pace so surprised he started.

What’s all this Sky bollocks about Poch taking a gamble by “going strong” and playing a perfectly normal team?

Trying to create controversy out of absolutely nothing.

Thrilled to take the three points, not overly concerned about the performance given the lack of preseason for so many key players.

Thought it was a poor second half, defensively all over the place numerous times. I'd certainly feel more comfortable with Rose and Trippier on either fullback positions, as well as Dembele for Sissoko because I think without Sissoko and Aurier in particular, we're generally a tidier team.

Still, first game and 3 points, good start!

Great 3 points but an awful performance.

Some real questions about too many in that team.

Over the moon with the result, the performance was always going to be shit given the circumstances but a big 3 points.
