Let's also credit New Port... They played a good game.

They were really well organise in defense. At times 5/6 players in and around the box really giving us no space to play the ball. They fought hard in midfield, they were pressing form the half way line.

We were poor tonight... But give New Port credit for playing a really good game. And they deserve a replay.

We had our opportunity two season back, when Leicester won it. City, United and the bin dippers have all spent buckets loads sinceand strengthened, we still think we can do it with the same players and unfortunately that ship has sailed.

Good for Newport. The money they'll get will be huge for them and they deserve every fucking penny. Coached and played brilliantly.

We were dire. And we will pay for it. But the performance inhere is not much better in here. It's like Sissoko has turned everyone's brain to mush. Clearly our best player in the first half and hardly our worst in the second yet every single possession or perceived mistake is obsessively leapt on by frothing hordes - when worse mistakes, made more often by players with far more ability are ignored. It's dispiriting seeing one player so obviously the target of hate and bile when it's so out of balance with relative performances on the pitch. Bizarre.

We can't play without left sided players on the left. The moment Son came on to complement Verts we looked so much better. And again when Davies came on.

I don't think anyone can say wanyama and dembele were good, they were awful. However, at least dembele can beat a player and pass effectively and Wanyama when he is on song is one of the best defensive midfielders in the league. The point is with Sissoko is I don't know what he is good at. His first touch is rubbish, he can't make any passes except the most basic ones, his shooting is pretty poor, his crossing is poor. I don't think even think he works THAT hard to somewhat balance this and he isn't brave.

The only two positives I can think of is that he is quite a big bloke and he is quick. Thats it.

There's still 4 days before the TW closes. Hope Chelsea comes calling for Llorente before it closes.

Llorente has been a hopeless signing. It really is embarrassing that we had to start Kane next to him as he's incapable of performing on his own up top against a league 2 side. I thought he was a decent smart signing at time, it hasn't worked and he's now a worthless member of the squad that needs offloading.

Remember, the poor bugger has had hardly any playing time since he was signed.

I was out at dinner for my dad's birthday so missed the game. But my mum got annoyed at my dad and stormed out.

Not sure which was worse.

I hope this game hasn't taken too much out of Kane for the United game. He played the full 90mins, which I think wasn't the original plan.

Never understood the signing.

Said it before and I'll say it again, the club and Poch do not give a flyin fk about the fa cup.
Pathetic embarrassing performance.
And I'v no idea what Poch is doing recently. Pick a weaker team by all means but you cant just chuck any fkin 11 out there and hope it'll work. You need balance and creativity and some fight in EVERY GAME no matter who you're playing.
He must have said to them pre match 'fk this is a shit hole and its cold. This is beneath us. Just stroll about and we'll win. This lot are shit.'
Because I saw no fight in that first half whatsoever. Bunch of fkin Billy Big Bollocks.
