All, just got a tip as to next Palace manager....

Alan Pardew. 6/1 on WH at the minute.

Replacing him at Newcastle: Roberto Di Matteo (no book as yet that I can see).

Former player, Palace want him apparently. Not going to claim any ITK on this, just a tip from a Palace supporting mate who seemed confident.

Means he doesn't have to work for Ashley. The Kinnear thing must still make him angry. Plus a few dodgy results up there sees him instantly under pressure.
And he lives in Surrey and might want to come back south.
He'll get himself a contract guaranteeeing that he gets a chance to bring them back up. I'd certainly think long & hard if I was him.

Didn't he recently sign a 25 year, or something like that, contract up there ? He would be mad to resign and lose a chunk of that.

It's an 8 year contract but it means he's offered no compensation if he gets the boot.
