Nicolas N'Koulou is very close to leaving the Marseille : has learned in exclusiveby Calciomercato.it , the plant is expected in the coming days trasferirisi to Tottenham for a figure close to 7 million of euros.

The 25 year-old Cameroonian, followed with great interest from Lazio who then diverted Bisevac , has the contract expiring next June and the French club, who needs to raise liquidity on the market, has done everything to sell it already in January to avoid losing the class 90 on a free end of the season. That's why the company transalina, in all likelihood, will keepRolando , former Inter who also loved to Sampdoria .

Probably BS but with Fazio expected to leave you never know. Interestingly, he can also play DM, so could be Toby & Dier's back up.

So Dier won't be playing CB until he's 27 years old then?

Interestingly, this guy's contract expires in June. Good to see Levy trying to find these types of bargains. The times I've watched Marseille he's been an absolute rock for what it's worth, not sure if I believe this though.

Wasn't Wimmer linked with a loan there to the end of season? Perhaps the two are linked.

@Spursking is very excited :)

I can't see Levy paying £5.2m if he is a Bosman in the summer. More likely he follows the Holtby playbook of signing him now for the summer and then offering OM £1m to take him now.

He's trying to get a place in the Austria squad for the Euros. Won't displace Dragovic, but I think the other CB role is up for grabs and he could grab it through regular 1st team football. That may actually have legs the more I think about it, and coupled with Fazio's departure could see this move become a reality.

Seeing Fazio has next to no playing time and Wimmer has not really had that many minutes I cannot see how/why we would sign him. That said, I guess he'd like first team minutes and I'm not sure that he'd get many with Toby and Jan playing like they are.

No agreement between Tottenham & Marseille for Nicolas N’Koulou
Contrary to reports from Calciomercato, there is no agreement in place nor is any agreement close between Tottenham and Marseille for the transfer of Cameroonian international defender Nicolas N’Koulou.

Sources close to the player have denied these claims to both BeIN Sports and Foot Mercato.

He could spark the "too short" debate that took this forum by storm when Chiriches was around.

Considering Poch has played Toby and Jan in pretty much every game this season to keep the partnership tight I'd be very surprised if we signed another centre half even with Fazio likely to leave. Wimmer, Dier and CCV is good enough cover for those two imo.
