Its a quiet day......so time for any news we can find !

Per article below, Spurs' Olumide Durojaiye have been recommended to join the Nigeria Olympic National Team on the basis of a training camp held in England a few days ago (nb. several people have reported that the second year academy player has just been released by Spurs despite being the mainstay of the Spurs X1 defence in 2019/11 - but this has not been reported on OS). :eek:mg: :eek:mg:

Kudus Oyenuga scoring a hat- trick in a match against a Reading X1 held at the training camp but was not selected for the Nigeria Olympic National team.

According to a report in the online edition of Nigeria's First all soccer daily, www.soccerstarng.com, Arsenal's younsgter Chuks Aneke and Spurs' Olumide Durojaiye have been recommended to the Nigeria Federation by Eagles gaffer Samson Siasia to join the Olympic National Team.

Both players put up eye-catching performances during a two-day camping exercise organized in England. The Nigeria selection defeated Reading eleven by 8-0, with Kudus Oyenuga scoring a hat- trick.

''These player are a bunch of talented players. Without this programme, they may never have got the opportunity to get this kind of exposure. They are individually talented, but need a good coach to blend them. I will go back to the NFF and recommend some of the players to any of the national teams,'' Siasia was quoted as saying by soccerstarng.com.
