Penalties

Goalkeepers aren’t allowed to touch the goalposts and they will have to keep one leg on the goal-line once a spot-kick is taken.

Very unfair to keepers
who don't have an artificial wooden leg
they can leave on the goal-line.

They just don't
think things through.

A penalty shoot out could take a fortnight.

Coin toss

Coin toss winners will have the option to kick off first or choose an end to play against.

This hasn't always been the case?
At the moment the winner of the coin toss kicks off AND chooses which end.

Love that the bench size will be 12 players next season. That will be great for squad harmony and giving players a chance to play in the competition. Hopefully the Premier League will follow suit.

That's truly new to me. Have always believed, and always played with winning the coin toss = choice of ends or kick-off.

Cheers Mr D.

That isn't correct. The winner of the toss decides which goal it will attack. Their opponents take the kick-off. The team that wins the toss kicks off the second half.

You're right. I was wrong. Which I addressed in my second post #8.
