The most expensive signing last season in relation to transfer fee and playing time was Tottenham's George-Kevin Nkoudou.

This guy cost Spurs £9m from Marseilles and played just 49 minutes. That works out at a staggering £183,673.47 for every sixty seconds he spent on the pitch. The club had two other players in the top twenty....Moussa Sissoko :( and Vincent Janssen. That speaks volumes for our recent signings.

Whichever way anyone tries to sugar coat it, all three have been poor. Money spent on all three could have been invested more wisely.

Dont know if I'd say Nkoudou was poor, think he deserved more playing time, much more in fact than Sissoko but for whatever reason Poch didn't give many chances. I like the look of him and hope he kicks on next season.

But it's true that these signings didn't have much impact, that's 60m we didn't use. Must do better next season.

I hope he kicks 'on' but not 'up' or 'out'
or it might all kick 'off' between him and Mauricio.

What is the reason you think he deserved more playing time? After all the manager sees what is happening in training and thought he was a poorer option than Sissoko (who was poor). Are you gageing this on Sissokos' poorness or something you have seen of Nkoudou in a Spurs shirt? I can only go on what I have seen and I wouldnt chose playing time for either of them but we had limited options when Winks was unavailable, Poch understandably likely edged toward Sissoko due to his premier league and international experience.

All I remember from Nkoudou was when he came in against CSKA Moscow on the away game. He's pace and energy totally gave us a boost and was one of the reasons we managed to win that game.

I guess that's a far bigger input that Sissoko's.
