I went to the Boro game and he did nothing wrong at all. I'm not sure why he hasn't been involved since. I went incognito with Boro fans and they even said he looks like a good player.

Why?

He has not even made the bench for Ramos and has been shocking in the ressies, just like he has in the first team this season.

He would struggle in the championship to play as a centre-mid in a 4!

I think Thudd passing can open up this team, he has always played pretty well in UEFA cup games (pace is more his style)
But he is the best at opening up a defensive team with good passing.

i thought he looked very good that day - and surely wendy was impressed enough in the first place to give him the run...

Malbranque is our best offensive passer and would create more chances from center mid than hudd. I think the only reason he has not been played there by ramos is that he doesn't like lee at lb and plays Bale there. When/if BAE recovers I reckon we may see him at lb, bale in front of him and steed moved into the middle.
