Spurs have been linked with defenders all summer, but Tanganga's display suggests they may not need to sign another one.

I'll be disappointed if we don't get Tomiyasu. He looks like a very versatile player who could cover anywhere in the back line. If Aurier goes we're one injury away from Doherty.

Don't need him now, Tanganga has come of age.

I feel we could do with an attacking RB option if Aurier leaves.

Tanganga performances last season were a mixed bunch. I wouldn't say he's come of age based on 1 performance v City.

Plus he does seem injury prone. Hopefully he has stopped growing and he will have now play to his body strength.

I really hope he does nail down a starting spot and although he apparently sees himself as a cb a season or 2 at full back Will do his career the world of good

but as stated it was just one match.....

Doherty and Aurier out Aarons in maybe in Jan or next season. Would be a really good and balanced right back setup with options like Tanganga and Aarons
