There is a point in a footballer’s career where something has to change. For most, it’s when they sign their first professional contract. For others, it may be when they realize being on the bench and playing a few minutes for two or three years just isn’t good enough anymore.

It will be interesting to see whether Poch agrees.

This has frustrated me, because he has all the attributes to be a great CM. Pace, physique & he's good on the ball, but for some reason it's not quite all there. Maybe his year at AV will have sorted this out & if it has he'd be a good option to replace Dembele.

Would be fantastic to see him make the step up. He's a highly talented footballer who could add so much to our midfield options. Fingers crossed he gets given a chance and grabs it. Not wishing to turn this into a Sissoko bash, but how on earth he gets into our CM so regularly is a complete mystery to me. Hopefully he'll have a storming WC and we can shift him off the back of it.

You're right, it will be interesting to see if Poch plays him. Onomah has all the talent, but rarely plays in his natural position at first team level, even at Villa Bruce played him as a 10, he should be in central midfield.

A central midfield of Winks and Onomah could be outstanding, maybe it's a bit too soon.

I see you made it a Sissoko bash while pretending not to. Well done. Stellar.

So what’s your point exactly? Sissoko isn’t a top quality player is he, especially for the money we paid!
My point was that he managed to wedge in a Sissoko comment when it was unnecessary. It was fairly simple, but apparently way above your head.

As for keeping knickers on, you might want to look at yourself first. I won't add the "ha ha", because it looks stupid to laugh at your own "jokes".
