A real talent no doubt especially as not played in his true position yet.
Now needs game time but will he get enough with Spurs at present. You can see how match ready Alli was by having played a full part at MK and i think loan with guaranteed playing time will bring Josh on quicker than purely training with 1st team.

I can see where people are coming from with Chadli, but thing is when someone contributed so many goals and assists last year, he deserves a chance to come back in and see if he can either replicate those numbers or adapt his style to our system rather than being sold or assuming he won't be able to adapt. I am sceptical but would love to see him do one of the above because I really like Chadli and see a lot of ability in him. If he can't do either of the above then we can look at selling him. I think it would be harsh just to drop him for Onomah though of course if Onomah is regularly out performing him in training then he doesn't have a choice.

If we then sold Chadli that is when we should get Boufal as he seems like he has energy and skill

That's fair enough, he does deserve a proper crack. Think we'll be flogging him next summer though.

It was less than a year ago that Chadli tore the champions a new one. Quality player. Excited by Onomah but have some patience people!

I like the fact Onomah isn't afraid to have a crack, and his shots are generally on target. If/when he breaks through I think he'll chip in.

I'm not a fan of Chadli, I prefer my wide players to have a little more pace, creativity and agility than he possesses, but I agree. He has earned the right to be a part of the matchday 18 for the rest of the season, at least. He's shown himself capable of making match-winning contributions to the team on a consistent basis, something which, Josh, for all his massive potential, probably won't be able to match just yet.

I'm Nigerian like Josh is and I'm vaguely family friends with him. It's On-o-ma

With the 'ah' ending in his surname I assume his Dad is Ghanaian and Mum Nigerian.

And thanks for clarifying, @Blake Griffin never trust Spurs commentators and interviewers. They though Oduwa was Onomah at Ledley Kings testimonial and just the other day they thought our Eastern European looking player was called Cameron Carter-Vickers and the short mixed race player was Milos Veljkovic.

I would expect one or two out on loan yes but not Onomah. Been best player in training for last month apparently

interesting tweet, though doesn't seem to add up given onomah's lack of involvement lately.

Perhaps Pochettino not want to chuck him into deep end with a lot of games. Also got a lot of players back from injury so competition for places is very high at the moment. Would be surprised if he doesn't get another chance soonish though.

If we want this guy to stick around then I think we're going to have to send a couple of players on loan, not that I want this to happen but I think the best scenario is for Pritchard to go out on loan in the Prem which frees up space and Townsend will leave which frees up another space and if we need to sale than I'd prefer it was Chadli and Carroll first and foremost but I just wants what's best for the team and if it means that we have to rid ourselves of a few fan favorites then so be it.

For his age josh looks like a quality talent but as people have said Chadli has shown he's capable of match winning contributions and as much as I really don't like his style or particularly rate him he should probably be picked ahead of Josh so the best option is to now loan josh to a prem team.

Especially if we sign another striker

He's fine where he is. U-21 and Europa cup football is enough to aid his progression at this point in time, he's only 18 FFS!

I disagree to an extent, he is beyond U21 football hence why he has only played 45mins this season. He has been playing that for 3 years but more like 2 years consistently.

He is the most highly rated player we had in the academy. I think him playing europa, FA cup and making the bench is fine atm, but if we were to get him a premier league loan. I would go for it as he is more than good enough to come back and make a big contribution next season.
