Potentially huge decision over in Spain today as a judge has ordered that the blood bags from 'Operation Puerto' should be handed over to Wada. This could mean that we may finally find out which football and tennis stars were mixed up in this blood doping regime.
At the time 56 cyclists were implicated but the doctor was surprised that only cyclists had been named as he also worked with top level football and tennis stars. It was thought the all the bags had been destroyed but bags for 35 people still remain.
Dangerous putting two & two together but this whole operation has always left doubts over the successes during the past decade of the Spanish football team and Rafa Nadal. Hopefully tests will show that they weren't involved with all this.
