The compulsory purchase order red card given to the business said to be in the way of the planned new Spurs stadium is not the end of the fight

Glad to see so many rational comments tearing the article apart for being the flawed and blinkered rhetoric that it is.

Like it or not, the area can't survive without the club and the club will start to go backwards without the regeneration. Without the NDP everyone in Tottenham loses.

You just want to sit these fucktards down and ask them to explain why these businesses are there? Why people use them. What kind of people would use them if there was no spurs and laughably, how these stupid ****s think they'll make the area better without 60k people every other week plus all the tours, the club shop and general visitors.

Then again, all of the above explains why the area is such a hell hole. They're all too retarded to do better.

*retard used in the context of lazy, ignorant wilfully useless, not mentally ill.

Take spurs out of the area and see how long those family businesses last. Think of all the extra revenue an increased capacity will bring to the WHOLE area on match days.

The whole area has been a total shithole since our parents moved out in the 60's and 70's. Fact. A new stadium ain't gonna change shit. But it'll help!

Is Levy sending Commander Worf on an away mission to Tottenham with Ensign Barnes?

Poor Ensign Barnes.... met his end out side Chick King at the hands of a Romulan chicken nugget.

I haven't visited Tottenham since I moved to Central America and had no idea that the area had run down so much. The responses to this extremely biased article certainly made me aware of how important the NDP is for this part of London.

"Social cleansing" is a tad incendiary, isn't it?

Clearly, this article was written by an idiot. It's such a juvenile argument he's making, it's almost sweet. Bless. He doesn't want Tottenham to improve. He wants one of the worst and most deprived areas in the entire country to carry on exactly as it is, rife with regular shootings and stabbings, the gangs, the drug running...because it's inhabited mostly by black and ethnic people, of which, presumably, he is one. That's his entire argument right there. Why are we even taking this nonsense seriously?
