I support Tottenham the team not Tottenham the location so whether it be based at the OS or somewhere in Glasgow I will still support the team, I have no affiliation with the area whatsoever other than the team.

Well, as long as the team stays in London at least. I don't much like the idea of Newcastle being 'southern softies'

must be a good idea to move. Cheaper plus we could fund some of it just buy selling of the real estate in N17

Ultimately I don't think I could stop supporting Spurs, even if I wanted to... So while I'd rather we stayed in Tottenham and went through with the NDP, and I might be a bit disgruntled for a while, I'd still go...

I would NEVER turn my back on Tottenham Hotspur - ever.

That said I am not exactly going to be sparking up a cigar over the head of this either.

Its really flipping dissappointing and although we have to be realistc and accept that the finances have to take priority in a measured way, and using Levy's words - to 'deliver' the best opportunity to take this Club further - it doesn't make up for the emotional loss on the surface that the fans strongly relate and connect too. You cant put a price on that.

Given all the news about how we'll be taking the OS's soul etc (pathetic) I simply can't see past W Ham being awarded it, so bit of a non-starter.

Fuck knows! I've been trying not to think about it.

I wouldn't stop supporting the club, or anything as extreme as that. I would be extremely disappointed though. I feel Levy sees the OS as "the easy option" now. He doesn't have to raise the £450m to fund the NDP, and doesn't want to have the bother of having to worry about the parts of the plans which involve things other than the stadium (hotels, housing, etc etc).

There will be no more "North London Derby" no more taunts about "immigrant gypsy Arsenal down the road" - we'll be no better than them. No more The Pride of North London.

I would be sad, very sad. But the club exists beyond me and my feelings for it, and will no doubt tick along nicely regardless. So, no doubt, I'll get to Stratford when I can as I do with WHL.... or more, hopefully, if I can eventually live the dream and get that Season Ticket, eventually.

+1 to all this

Either go on a murderous rampage, or accept that all things change and simply move with the times.

Myderous rage!
Murderous rage!
Kill some more!
Kill some more!
Eek

I voted 'grudgingly support' (even though the 'support' part wasn't even an option:grin:), but I think it is not quite the right term.

Like others I would be right disappointed. But I think the disappointment would grow less with time - especially if we are successful. I wouldn't imagine being more than mildly annoyed 10 years after the move. 30 - if I'm not pushing up the daisies - I would probably hardly think about it, or just occasionally fondly remember that we once played at WHL.

If it happens it happens, I will not care really and support the club regardless. If I had the choice I'd rather stay in Tottenham but I will follow the club to Stratford and my support would not dwindle even one percent.

The club I support not the area.

In the same way I do not support the club less if my favourite player leaves I will not support them any less if they move stadium either.

Ok, what if, as is being reported in the London Evening Standard, we change our name? Not because we want to, but because we could face legal action for using the name Tottenham, we could be forced into renaming the club. :eek:mg:
