lol, why the attitude? You don't have to say something in order to mean it. Thought you were giving the term "parent club" another name, in "loaning" club. It could mean the team loaning the player to another club or the team loaning the player from another club
I meant the club the guy is playing for.

I see Man City have learnt that dealing with Porto is like swimming with sharks! Shame too for the scousers...hahaha
Yep interesting that even City's money couldn't get the deal over the line. Maybe our fans will cut the board some slack over Moutinho? Nahhh, thought not.

Vidic leaving United at the end of season. Surprised really, thought he'd sign. 1 year deal at least. Still better than Rio, Smalling and Evans IMO.

Don't think its a massive loss for them really. He's past his best and to me looks like he has mentally switched off since Fergie retired.

You know what Evans has got a dumb face but he has been good for them for a while, most united fans I know agree he has been the best CB for 2 seasons

Evans is solid I agree. But when Vidic goes, Rio is poor these days, Smalling looks out of his depth. Jones is a real prospect at cb and needs a run of games there, despite to criticism of late. What I'm getting at is they are worse off without Vidic unless they spend big on their defence.

Thing is their defence is old and I'm not sure about Jones, positionally he is a joke at CB, he use to cause his partner all sort of trouble. He is like a fly to a light when the ball is in a 50/50 situation and when he loses, the whole defence has been compromised

Well if all the speculationis correct then losing Vidic wont hurt United. Everyone expects the Glazer's to really back Moyes this summer...

Of course, in reality they'll probably spend 2 months going full throttle for Ronaldo and fail

The problem with Vidic is that he's getting more injury prone, so despite him being a quality player still they're probably better off looking to replace him (as well as Rio and really Smalling too). What I'm sure will rankle them a bit is him going for nowt, but that's just the way it goes. Given their attack is pretty sorted in terms of personnel they can focus on getting the defence stocked properly in the summer.

Vidic says he won't be staying in England. Can see him going to a big club in the summer on a free, for a really hefty wage packet. PSG or Monaco wouldn't surprise me, neither would Real or Barca. He's only 32. If they can get him fit, or just use him as cover he could do a good job on the continent.

He'd fit right in at Real with all the other dirty **** defenders they have.
