Good on mabbutt for guiding him through it all.

This club has had some genuinely good people come through it.

I'd rather have Sherwood in charge of the first team rather than believe anything about in the mail about Gazza having recovered.

Hope he's finally over alcoholism and find a more meaningful life. Perhaps the club can play a role and invite him back as a match day helper in any way he can be useful.

Yeah nice thought but I wonder if being reminded by his 'old life' could trigger problems for him. My instinct is that new goals and fresh challenges are the way forward.

He's dead keen on fishing if I remember correctly. Just imagine how many people would sign up to a Gazza fishing course.

He made me fall in love with spurs, but I didn’t like some of the off field stuff hopefully he can stay sober. Must be hard to keep going through so many set backs.
