BMJ on Kemsley.

http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2194166,00.html

'However, the Dutchman was sad to see Kemsley go, describing him as a "good friend". "He was always nice company, especially last year and the year before," said Jol. "We had very good dinners and celebrations.'"

Life is sometimes very strange. Do you think this is Dutch humour? Or he just liked a good booze-up with PK?

ITK from Archibald re: Kemsley

Taken from COYS, Zippy posted :

Sorry if this has already been posted but this comes from Archibald who says:

He didnt havbe catergoric permission to go to Seville for Ramos nor to take Alexander with him!

It was best that he left Spurs- which he still holds shares as a silent partner!

He may mount a takeover but was better that he wasnt involved with the club on the"face of things".

His company which Levy is a big shareholder in own all the buildings around WHL.

There was a big meeting and thrashing out to decide which way to go- it involved Joe Lewis

They have agreed he wont be involved at all on a day to day basis with Spurs but will get involved re the expansion of the ground or new stadium and the training facility.

Its a joke but Levy cant control him and they are mates but also business associates helping each other out!

Hope this makes sense!

and also

sorry forgot to add that this was meant to be a peace offering to JOL for the time being also!

We all know he has had interviews for Newcastle and one of the Dutch clubs. But also West Ham and the Dutch national side apparently (Apologies if already shared)

What???? Have I been living under a rock or something? Because I don't think I have. Where on earth did this come from???? Newcastle in particular... poster, you make it sound like fact, "We all know"...

just quoting what fleetingmind posted on COYS, nearly every ITK says Jol's agent talked with Newcastle and Ajax, not that clear on the Dutch, West Ham situation though.

BTW these 3rd parties all contacted Jol

Not quite an interview, though.

It was certainly widely believed that Ajax were interested in Jol after Koeman jumped/was pushed early in 2005, but the Newcastle stuff only came out after RamosGate, when BEN or Dragon1 mysteriously became aware of it for the very first time, although Fat Freddy apparently made his approaches when Souness was still in charge.

Kemsley had to go

Getting caught out by the Media when meeting Ramos was bad, then his cringeworthy interview to the NOTW made us look ridiculous. In line with his "I'm not a number 2" comment, he made the decision to have a higher profile within the club earlier this year, and he f*cked it up.

Regardless of whether Levy agreed with Ramos approach or not, he was the one that got us exposed. He damaged the credibility of the whole club, almost destroyed our current manager and gave the players a nice excuse for their recent poor performance.

On a personal note, one of my mates worked for him a couple of years ago. I know some people end up giving a biased opinion of egotistic ball-busting people in business, but from the stories I heard Kemsley really does sound like a grad A TWAT

Good riddance
