The guy looks a player. Lots more to his game than defensive midfielder.

Ball Carrier
Superb of the ball movement
Passing range
Can shoot
Can head
Can tackle, strong as an ox

gonna be huge for us. 4min 31 sec :woot:

I agree, going to be great. He has that character about him.
Going under the radar a bit because it was done so early.

Superb signing, in fact if we complete Soldado We'll be looking great on the pitch.

Hes the type of midfielder I cant rememebr us ever having in my lifetime of supporting Spurs, all the top PL clubs had one, Gerrard, Lampard, Keane, Cesc. A complete midfielder, I am really looking forward to seeing how we line up in the middle. Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele are all good on the ball are all good passers, Dembele and Paulinho especially good at taking the ball forward with their heads up. Couple that with the possibility of seeing Siggy playing in his preferred position, IMO he will be like a new signing for us, he has easily 10 goals in him a season.

Hes got a bit of Roy Keane about him, except maybe Paulinho stays on his feet more. From the looks of these vids I think apart from Yaya he could be the best midfielder of his type in the PL. Our very own Essien.

Likes to keep it simple by the looks of it which is always good.

Clive Allen was on Talksport for 2 hours last night talking Spurs. Said he had a conversation with Ossie about Paulinho, Ossie thinks he could be the signing of the season in the PL. I'm not gonna argue.

I think he's gonna score a fair few headers...

I missed the match on Saturday, how did Chadli look?

And Gylfi seems to be involved in almost everything, is he stepping up?

I definitely think he will be a big player for us, though I do wonder how useful or whether he will be at all useful to us in breaking down those teams that just come to the lane and sit back and do nothing

Paulinho vs Espanyol

The move at 1:40 is what we've wanted to see all season. An intelligent run off the last defender and an incisive through ball.

I get the impression Soldado and Paulinho will build up quite the partnershp.

Chadli looked good, a few deft touches and good link up. Just needs to add a bit of decisiveness to his play but he looked very comfortable on the left.

As opposed to the Monaco friendly he was on the left and Siggy in the middle. It looked good and Siggy looked a lot more comfortable there. Faded out second half though but definite signs of improvement.
