It's not surprising the stick he gets from our fans, you have to also remember, these are the same fans that wanted to sell Bale, Rose, Walker, Dembele and so on. Unfortunately the disease has flooded from the fans into the media. While Paulinho wasnt great for us, he's getting ridiculous unfair stick.

He was starting to look tasty for us until secret Spurs fan Charlie Adam hacked the shit out of him when we were playing Stoke.

Is quite funny Barca are signing one of our rejects.

hahaha fuck. This just doesn't look right. If we get Barca in the CL I hope he starts, it'll be like playing against 10 men! For their sake I hope they have enough sense to not put the coward in the wall when defending free kicks.

Really odd signing for Barca and I'm really not sure what they see in him. I wouldn't want him near our team now.

Funny one, but wish him all the best! Still harbour great memories of the late Cardiff winner and the erection that followed.

A few rumours around that there is a bit more to this transfer than meets the eye. Apparently Bartomeu's construction company is competing for a contract on one of those artificial islands off China which just happens to be owned by the same Evergrande group who own Guangzhou Evergrande. Some talk that the 'fee' for Paulinho is more like an attempt to grease the wheels and get Bartomeu's company the contract.

It might just be social media scuttlebut but it would go a long way to explain a transfer as baffling as this one.

Someone has 100% taken a bung on this signing. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Here's the article in the Mirror saying Barca are threatening to sue over these allegations.

Whatever the reasons for the signing I can't see him being near the first team, however fun it may be to see. :p

Good luck to him, wank at Spurs (although people will convince you he was good) went to a shitty league and now playing for Barca. I bet he didn't think he would ever dream of that when he hit that shot against Burnley away!

I always felt there was a good player hiding somewhere within little Paul. He was bloody awful for us, but people forget that the club was in chaos while he was here.

Still think there is something fishy about this transfer though.

Paulinho is doing well at Barca. Hmmmm.... no wonder all the football experts are not posting in this thread to make stupid jokes.
Guess Spurs is a much better club than Barcelona.
