We really have some total dickheads (or 12 year old children) as fans, I've seen Levy Out trending on twitter; the man who has just overseen completion of a massive bastard stadium build right next to a main road on the site of the old ground amongst other things...

Yep I know right making a net loss of £50m on transfers in last ten years, making record breaking profit and making out like we have no money to buy anyone because he’s paid for a stadium that’s been financed by loans ?

Wouldn't be surprised if we fail to get glc (even if herc is positive) and United get dybala and he will score the winner...

I’m getting very frustrated like many others in this thread, but I’m not going to criticise anyone because we didn’t sign Paulo fucking Dybala for £80-90m. I’m guessing, at most, we enquired about him, which means little. There’s no way we could’ve signed him without us selling Eriksen or not signing Lo Celso, so I’m not that bothered. If we don’t sign Lo Celso and Sess then I will gladly join those taking shots at Levy/ENIC etc.
Then why the leaks from the club to the media? It's embarrassing that we would seemingly leak our interest only to get gazumped by a rival. If we didn't want to pay the money it never should have made the papers.

Levy thought it would push Betis. It has backfired remarkably and just makes us look like we’re running around like chickens with out heads chopped off.

Levy thought it would push Betis because we would spend the money they were asking for Le Celso on Dybala? ..

I still don't get this thought process, it just seems more of a PR stunt and fuck all to do with Betis.

This guy knows his stuff, so sounds like the swap is a goer. Utd will just chuck enough money at Dybala until it happens.

I think Juve are mad to do it as I don't see Lukaku being what they need, Ronaldo will probably have him pushed out to RW after a few games.

It might be worth watching a few juventus games just to see Ronaldo’s face for when he’s set up Lukaku for the 4/5th time in a game to see him miscontrol it off his shin or give it away with his awful first touch!

As if Ronaldo will set someone up that many times

The fact that our interest seemed pretty transparently to be leaked from within our own camp, should have been an immediate warning sign. Little benefit to doing that except as a way to influence other deals.

But it wasn’t was it? The rumours started in Italy first.

So chickens with our heads on then?

And seeing as you have a wiretap on Levy’s phone so as to know he was trying to push Betis, are there any further nuggets you would like to share with us?

Christ, the season hasn’t even started and there are no match day threads yet and still you manage to post up such drivel ?

It’s amazing how Utd constantly fall on their feet with big name signings yet still always manage to mess things up on the pitch.

Thinking recent years of Pogba, Mata, Sanchez, Zlatan, Martial even keeping hold of De Gea.

If they manage to wrap up Dybala despite not being in Champions League then we can finally put a nail in the coffin of the “players want CL football” argument

? priceless pic.

And fair play for breaking up the relentless stream of rage baby rantings. Over a player nobody knows we were truly ever in for in the first place

He isn't coming anyway, can't understand people thinking it's possible. But the good thing is I don't think we need him very much. There are more important signings we should worry about.

I can live with the fact that it wasn’t possible to sign him but the thought of watching him play for United makes me feel physically sick if I’m honest.

Maybe I’m just not as invested as some of you guys but the idea of feeling ‘physically sick’ at a potential football transfer seems a strange concept.

I said earlier in the thread that the last player Utd signed with a profile like Dybala was Angel Di Maria who flopped spectacularly. How stupid of me to have forgotten that it was actually Alexis Sanchez who was even worse!

I'm gutted.

I never learn and hype myself up when I see a link to a player I love.
I just think Dybala would suit us so much with his versatility in attack.
Very frustrating
