Totally fine with it.

We were told Dybala would only come if Eriksen went, and it doesn't seem like that atm.

So happy if we can get GLC + Sess. Rose, Toby & Eriksen to stay.

Based on? They are two of the first names on the teamsheet when he has them available.

Been all sorts of issues with Toby, hence why there's no new contract signed. Behind the scenes with Danny too and he certainly wanted to go this summer. Poch has only ever wanted those fully committed to the club, as we know

Both of those players "issues" were 2 years ago now. They're demonstrably committed.

I have no issue with dybala not being feasible or do able from a financial point of view but the club dont half get the fans Hope's up with putting this out in the press so they are accountable for that. Whoever's idea that was was a really shitty and crap decision

Just heard from my mate at work (Utd fan) that he read somewhere that Dybala wont accept any less than 250k per week from Utd.

My view is that we were offered the player (ITK suggested this) and we looked at making an offer, were told we'd need to up it significantly and decided it was too much.

As cool as it would've been, I'm really not sure how he would've fitted in to our lineup as it would almost certainly have been at the expense of one of Son, Eriksen or Dele.

GLC is younger, cheaper and more versatile and likely who we're focusing on.

I still think another forward type player is imperative. Lo Celso is less important for me at this time and I doubt Eriksen is going anywhere.

If we bring in LoCelso it will free Eriksen and Dele to play their more natural attacking game without having to constantly drop deep. We'll also hopefully have a fit Harry Winks. We also have Jack Clarke next season and Troy Parrott making a few waves.

If we’re keeping Eriksen, and he’s actually motivated to stay with us, then i’m ok with missing out on this one.

It was a punt, at best.

I hear you. I still feel we need another player with a bit of pace and intelligence in the final third to open teams up or run at defenders. Maybe Moura or Lamela will be that player for us this season.

My worry is now that even if we do end up with GLC we have a huge conundrum on what to do with Eriksen. With Dybala look more and more likely to be heading to United if Eriksen were to leave we have no replacement lined up. The team at the start of last season would have essentially swapped eriksen and dembele for GLC and Ndomdele, and as mush as I rate both players that is not solving our problems. Alternatively if Eriksen were to stay we are potentially risking having our (arguably) second biggest asset leave on a free next summer, which I just can't see Levy letting happen, and nor should he as we will need that money to reinvest in a very expensive role to fill.

If eriksen stays and signs a new deal then great but why would he, he has already publicly stated he thinks he wants a new challenge, I imagine he has barca, real, his agent and lots of others in his ear saying hang on for another year and join us on a pre contact in Jan, with a massive signing on fee and huge wages.

I think the opposite. If we get LoCelso either Erisken or Dele will play deeper more often. Clarke is on loan for the season.

We also were told to expect a different style to our play this season. To me, that indicates that we expected Eriksen to move and that contingency plans were being drawn up in the likely event that he'd be hard to replace. That hasn't happened (yet).

I don't understand the utd Juventus swap, Juve were letting Dybala go because they had too many forwards and Lukako is a downgrade on Dybala

I wonder if getting decent money for Moise Kean changed their mind? I agree on the downgrade comment however.

Because Juventus are colossal ****s, they can't pay the refs anymore so instead their new approach is to either buy the best player from the team rivaling them (Pjanic from Roma, Higuain from Napoli) or better yet when you see somebody might compete to take their main target as they're doing to Inter with Lukaku, it's shitty but it's working.

If I was Lukaku I'd be looking at how desperate Conte is to have me on his side and question whether I want to be a bit part player at Juventus or the main man at Inter, I know what I'd personally do because it hasn't gone well for him at United and to see a manager so invested in you as a player would bring huge confidence.

Reminds of links for Falcao and Aguero a decade ago or so, was never going to happen, plenty of clubs that can offer much higher wages.
