Been a couple of corking matches so far, but a lot of blandness too.
Fantastic to have two 9 darters in one session last weekend as well.
Bit of a shame that Wade didn't get beaten last night. His opponent bottled it with 6 missed darts to win the match.

For sure, but he is 53 now, how long can he go on!
Taylor at 75% of his best is still better than the majority of players on tour, but yeah, time will catch up with him. He's set so many records that are never likely to be broken. I guess he'll play till he feels he's no longer competitive.

Still haven't got into this year's tournament yet, but Anderson - Van Gerwen should be a cracker

Game of the tournament just there between Peter Wright and Michael Smith - the guy who knocked Taylor out. Great stuff.

Bit sick after watching Anderson throw it away. He could have won that 4-0 and I think that was his best chance of being world champion.

Nothing against MVG, but he will win many world titles during his career.

Van Gerwen v Lewis should be a superb semi and the winner will be champion IMHO

I'd like to see Whitlock win it but I agree, the winner should come from that side of the draw, just hope an improved Lewis turns up tomorrow night, because that was the worst of the 4 quarter finals.

Glad that knob Wade is out though. Should have gone out a couple of rounds ago.
