So many great memories of Stevie. One time I was down by the touchline and he upended Johnny Giles right in front of me. Giles shouted at him 'Next time I'll break both your fucking legs!' Stevie just laughed back and said 'Give it your best shot'. Never a more genuine bloke IMO who was hard as nails but honest and fair. The mould was truly broken when he was made.

I grew up watching him play. Legend. Thanks for the memories and all the best for the future Steve.

Stevie should be awarded the complete freedom of our new stadium, and perhaps given an honorary lifetime award, maybe Club President...?

I always get a shock when I see Stevie as he is now, in my minds eye he is still that 17 year old I first saw play.

I listened to Alan Mullery on The Spurs Show a few weeks ago and he said Stevie will be joining the Matchday legends for 12 games next year at the new Stadium.
