And when Goughie asked him why the stewards didnt penalise Hamilton the plonker ignored the question, so ingrained was his the dislike for Hamilton he couldnt perceive anything else but his own prejudice.
Anyway before I go too far off track, completely agree with Sly1 above.

I can remember all the negative comments on this site when we signed two unknowns Ali and Dier....all wrong in the long term. Janssen has also been pasted to death over the last season. Poch has the last say on recruitment and we finished second last season against every football pundits predictions. This is a great club moving forwards, yes mistakes will be made but we are not Football Managers even in our wildest dreams.
We are SPURS on the up.

Marcel is also young enough that we don't need to only play him in the prem side to give him game time. He can play regularly with the developmental squad and basically tag along with the prem players to learn. And get eased into life in England and the league

You can hardly blame anyone for being slightly underwhelmed by this kid. Now that we're regulars in the Champs League, building a new stadium and are London based, anyone would expect us to be out there looking to sign a couple of recognised internationals to strengthen for next season. Every other Prem side around us and every other Champs League side in Europe is currently doing this. But once again, we're shackled by our wage structure. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of what our club has achieved, but it's only a matter of time before other big spending clubs catch us. Poch can't keep performing miracles forever.

I'd prefer we take a chance on unproven young player for a low fee, than pay 30 million for Sissoko, 40 millon for Lemar.

Look at our side, Kane cost nothing, Alli 5 million, Dier 4.5 million, most of the side cost under 13 million. The method has worked for us.
No, I'd rather have Lemar for 40 million

Marcel isn't instead of others. He popped up out of nowhere and some or the other scout just thought he'd be worth picking up. Kind of like when you pop over to sainsbury's planning to get some pasta, a jar of pesto, a few tomatoes and some cheese, and then you spot marmite on sale and pick it up. It doesn't stop you from buying what you had planned, the Marmite is just a cheap bet on something that might work out for you in the future.

Has any one suggested we stop signing white english players because a couple of them recently didn't make the first team immediately?

No of course not that would be really silly wouldn't it. Oh wait..

Sarcasm? Because Hell Yes. For years, be it reflecting on real life or wasting my life cheating at Football Manager, I just assumed most English players were signed to as domestic makeweight in the Champions League. How many articles a year lament the piss poor status of the English domestic player ?
