Walker in again. I remember when some people on here were raving that we signed a better player in Aurier for half the price. How did that work out?

For what it's worth, I don't think Walker has been anywhere near as effective this season as he was the previous two.

Not exactly a ton of rightbacks in the league, much of a muchness. Good for him though I guess (Walker)

Walker get in by default because there's literally been no-one else playing to a decent standard this season.

Can't argue with that too much albeit i'd probably put Sterling or Sane ahead of Aguero.

And has Alonso been that outstanding this season?

There really isn't any great left backs in the league really.

I would also put Sterling in for Aguero, and I don't think Otamendi is really that great, he just looks good as Man City don't have to do much defending.

The three players I would’ve picked from Spurs.

Otamendi? He’s fallen off a form cliff in recent weeks (and frankly hasn’t been that great all season IMO).

I would definitely have Sterling in the team. He has come on no end this season Seems to have bought in to Peps methods very well. Scored lots of goals, and if he can sort his finishing more, he will improve again next season.

Only competition for Alonso is Davies, really - maybe Robertson, but he only played half the season. And I doubt the PFA would have four players from the team in fourth.

Alonso has been absolute shite this year

I know as a defender it's about defending primarily... but stats wise he's scored the most goals out of any defender in the premier league.

As a person, don't care for him at all. As a footballer... he's not the best but he gets into the team due to the lack of competition really. As mentioned, his main competition is Davies and Robertson.

Remind me how brilliant Walker was in his first season for us? Give Aurier a chance, as in an actual pre-season with the team and a run of games before writing him off.

I know Chelsea's season has been a bit of a car crash but Alonso has scored a load of goals and really is murder for full backs to play against. I don't know how he gets away with it but he always finds himself unmarked when he hits that back post. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club, for obvious reason which I won't mention here, but in the past he's been part of a solid defense and he's the sort of player that will run through brick walls, but Chelsea are still drunk off of their title win last season so it's not his fault that they've been so poor. He's also a good free kick taker, although he often hits the wall, he's scored a few good ones.

What?
