I really hope we ditch that pompous pretentious twoddle we run out to now, could a piece of music be so out of sync with the club we really are. It's like an episode of Steptoe and Son beginning with Holst's The Planets.

This is what we should be running out to, Spurs folk music, sung by Spurs geezers with some of the humour and pathos that is ingrained in our DNA:

I think this is more appropriate for Spurs fans. ;)

We could really embrace our affiliation with American Handegg and all aspects of their culture, by taking a cue from the WWE and having our players come out one at a time, each with their own personal entrance music, fireworks, etc.

Citeh tried to get a bit showbiz with their light shows and fireworks, if it's going to creep into the game like that anyway, i would like us to see what is considered "the line" and cross it at a 100mph, on fire.

From all posted so far I think the Benny Hill theme would be the best. Maybe the music would come across as a bit too serious but I think we should give it a go for a few seasons, especially at the new gaff

I want to keep Duel of the Fates, but I really hope the audio system at the new stadium is up to it. WHL just barely delivers.

Can't smile without you, obviously.

Can't believe this hadn't been mentioned for 5 odd pages, it's our "never walk alone"/"blue moon"

It's more than the obvious choice it's the only one which makes any sense.

.

Is it that mainstream within Spurs fandom? I had the impression it was in-joke for a small group of die-hard away support who used to listen to the same tape every game on the coach.

That may be the Genesis of it but it's pretty much an accepted Spurs song nowadays and it's identification as such is pretty widespread.

I do think, however much I love the it, that it's probably a bit too slow and bittersweet in style for pre match though.

I wonder why we never hear it sung at the Lane though. Heard on TV that they sung it at the Inter game in Oslo, which was nice to hear.

He's even got a champions league ball for a head

I hope you're pleased with yourself, i had some sort of fever dream revolving around this song last night. It's his eyes, they know something but he's ignoring it and fucking with us, what does he know? Do you know what he knows? You'd tell us wouldn't you? Wouldn't you?
