Probably for nfl teams to stay when they have games at whl.
Also for players if we have a game in newcastle or something to stay before an early start.

Think it's a collection of reasons that made it viable. First it's a good business move, it's going to be the best location for any overseas sports team staying/playing in London, I reckon it will be offered as a pre-season camp for some of the top teams in Europe as well while we are off on tour etc.

It's also great to have a top class facility for potential signings to stay in while we do the medicals etc. New signings can also live out of it for the first weeks after signing.

There must also be lots of occasions where Poch wants the players to be together the night before traveling away or before a big game.

I suspect we are also building it for the NFL teams to have a training base before games. Wonder what the room rate is....

Could also help with future transfers. With top clubs staying there we will have a relationship with them. And also players will see what a superb set up we have.I guess it's pretty shrewd on many levels.Whatever people say about Levy,he certainly is forming models that others will follow.

Sure I also read it would provide a place for players to sleep in between double sessions.

Plenty of pics please (y)

Already been warned about that, apparently people who have posted pictures before have lost their jobs.
Went to the site on Monday for my safety induction and I have to say the current training ground and the plans for the lodge are bloody impressive.

I take it’s to replace the team hotel.

A lot of players come over on trial, teams come to spurs to train from all over the world, new signings have somewhere to live temporarily. Bale livid in the Prince regent for quite a while, they had a lot of American teams over, Avb had rooms booked so the players had somewhere to be in between double sessions. I know bond and joe Jordan ( and rednap stayed there).

Santi Corsola stayed at the regent on trial for ages but Redknapp could not make up his mind.

Spurs where the Prince regent in Chigwell biggest client till they moved to the new training ground.
